When the two were escorted off the ice by officers after an argument, Hartman turned Kane away. The 27-year-old, whose contract expires in 2023-24 and is capped at $1.7 million, said after the game that any fines for the conduct were "worth it." "All five guys used it, they couldn't trip me up," Kane said. "With that said, I definitely want to get out of that shackles. "These little guys, they want to play hard, but they wait for the linesman to come in. The Wilds and Oilers won't meet again this season, and as of this writing, they may not meet again until the Western Conference finals.
