Tampa Bay Buccaneers Vita Vea Suffers GRUESOME Injury! Welcome back to Sports Plug today on the channel we are going to talk about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Vita Vea had a TOOTH knocked out mid-game! Buccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea would fit right in with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning if Sunday afternoon is any indication. Tampa's front-seven star lost a tooth mid-play in Indianapolis on Sunday, suffering the injury as his face collided with the helmet of Colts offensive lineman Mark Glowinski. Luckily for the Buccaneers, Vea didn't seem to mind too much, returning to the game shortly after the unfortunate accident. Vea has been one of the NFL's top defensive tackles since being selected with the No. 12 pick in the 2018 NFL draft. He tallied 8.5 career sacks and 13 tackles for loss, and he was a key figure in Tampa's win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. In other NFL news, Former New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Glenn Foster Jr. died while in custody in Alabama after being arrested Saturday just after midnight. The Pickens County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Foster died Monday. Coroner Chad Harless said his office is in possession of Foster’s body and an autopsy is pending. Harless said he could not comment further on precisely when and where Foster died. We have an update on Ukraine’s Artem Besedin who suffered a gruesome looking knee injury vs Sweden. The Ukranian team doctor relayed that the the player has a partial tear of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), medial collateral ligament (MCL), and lateral collateral ligament (LCL) along with a non-displaced fracture of the femoral condyles (the rounded farther ends of the thigh bone that make up one part of the knee joint, along with the tibia). The reported timeline is around six months for the player to return to training and overall it’s very good news because there are no full ruptures involved.
