Kerala Blasters vs Odisha FC 0 - 0 (8/11/2019) Goals,Highlights ISL 2019 Kerala Blasters FC and Odisha FC share the spoints in a snoozefest. An injury-laden game saw the two teams play out a pallid 0-0 draw Kerala Blasters' win-less run stretched to three games after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Odisha FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. A penalty decision that went against the hosts was the talking point of the game. The hosts named star man Bartholomew Ogbeche on the bench and Raphael Messi was handed the opportunity to lead the line. They were further forced into two substitutions in the first half, as Jairo Rodriguez and Messi Bouli were taken off the field due to injuries. The visitors too had their share of injury concerns. Aridane Santana was forced to be substituted off in the first half after a collision with Messi. The injury-laden first half lacked free-flowing football and despite their marginal dominance, Kerala were unable to cause any sort of problem for the Odisha defence. The first exciting bit of play in the game arrived in the 35th minute when India international Samad Sahal danced past three opposition players before being brought down in the box by Narayan Das. However, the referee waved play on, as a horrified Eelco Schattorie looked on in disbelief from the side-line. The second half began exactly like the first concluded – passive football and purposeless possession spiced with the occasional half-chance rendered null by poor play in the final third. However, Odisha were inches away from scoring in the 58th minute. Jerry Mawihmingthanga, who was unusually quiet throughout provided an inch-perfect cross to the far post for Nandha to hit first time. But the winger was unable to direct his shot towards goal and rattled the side-netting with his effort. Kerala were handed a chance to walk away with a late winner in injury time. Prasanth whipped in a cross into the centre of the box for Ogbeche to head towards goal. But the marksman did well to cushion it to an unmarked Rahul who pulled the trigger. But Francisco Dorronsoro reacted in time to block the shot and keep his clean-sheet. There will be more than mere discussions about the penalty that should have gone Kerala’s way but the scoreline otherwise reflects the game perfectly. ••••••• SOCIAL MEDIA ••••••••• ➡️ Facebook:- https://www.facebook.com/iamnirbhayjain ➡️ Instagram:- https://www.instagram.com/iamnirbhayjain If you're a company interested in working with me, or collaborating on a video, feel free to email me at nirbhayjain00786@gmail.com •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• *Hit The Bell Icon To Get My Video Notifications* *Tell me how you liked the video or if you want any kind of particular video in the comments below* *SUBSCRIBE* #isl2019 #KeralaBlasters #OdishaFC

Kobe Bryant is one of the best basketball players ever, but this NBA player trash talked him and it went very wrong… #Kobe #NBA #trashtalk Check out my Twitch- https://www.twitch.tv/mjallday2k Instagram- @MJ2K_ALLDAY Twitter- @mj2kallday Trash talk has always been a part of the NBA, but there are just certain players you don’t talk trash to. Why am I showing you this? That one bucket has a lot trash talk behind it. So let’s just get right into it. Drop a like for more stories like this, and as Kobe would say I work hard so subscribe, otherwise Kobe might get a little personal. So the year is 1999, Kobe is 20 years old fresh off of his second season in the NBA, his first All-Star season in which he averaged 15.4 points a game coming off the bench. Kobe was far from a star when he came in the league, but he definitely was beginning to develop into a promising player. That’s when Kobe met Ruben Patterson. Ruben Patterson was a second round pick in the 1998 draft. The 23 year old, 6’ 5” shooting guard was looking for a place in the league. Lakers teammates described him as energetic and aggressive. As Derek Fisher said, ”I was at practice every day, You don’t really have to think about what he’s saying. Because Ruben was a shooting guard, he was matched up with Kobe in practice. Leading up to the first meeting between the Supersonics and Lakers in the 1999-2000 season, Phil Jackson said Ruben didn’t fit well with the Lakers because of his bad shooting, but fits with the Sonics. And then out of nowhere, Ruben Patterson apparently, as the LA times reported in November of 1999, caught the Lakers attention by calling himself the “Kobe Stopper”. He didn’t say anything at the time, but after Kobe retired, he said I had to torch him. That next game against the Sonics, Kobe drops 31 and 6 on 61% shooting from the field coming off of a 3 day road trip. The funny thing is, Ruben Patterson wasn’t matched with Kobe, he was matched on to Glen Rice, and would at times switch on to Kobe. And when he did, Kobe got him. Soon there would be a game in which Ruben heavily guarded Kobe and sh*t got crazy. I want to focus on and that’s on April 14, 2004, the last game of the 2003-2004 regular season. At this point in time, Ruben is on the Trail Blazers and Kobe and the Lakers are trying to win their 4th straight championship. Kobe at this point is a full on superstar. Yeah So the game starts with Kobe being Kobe and Ruben watching from the bench. And when Ruben came in, well it was like he wasn’t even there. Kobe made it look like it was clockwork and Ruben got switched off of him as the Blazers opted to throw another body at Kobe. Kobe gets by Ruben, gets fouled with 55 seconds left. He misses the first and misses the second. This is also during their tumultuous season with his teammates doubting Kobe’s shot selection. Fast forward and Kobe has Ruben on a string on the perimeter, he pump fakes, gets Ruben Patterson to bite, and misses. Kobe easily got the shot he wanted and missed it. This isn’t great defense, Kobe was toying with Ruben again. And then this happens. This time he played the best defense he ever played on Kobe on the most important possession he has ever defended Kobe on and it didn’t matter. There was no one player that can stop Kobe. Yeah the game was slightly important for the Lakers, but you know Kobe takes every game seriously. He was able to shut all the Ruben Patterson talk and justify his shot selection at the same time. Keep in mind that Kobe had been wanting to destroy Ruben and this was probably the best way to do it, until he kinda did again when he hit this in double overtime. Ruben Patterson actually went the wrong way on this screen, going around instead of cutting in and so another player made the late switch to cover up for it and that little airspace was enough for Kobe to hit the game winner. You know how many points Ruben had. 2. IAfter the game, Ruben asked Kobe for his shoes. Ruben was in disbelief, Ruben did a complete 180. (Wow) Kobe finished that game with 37 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists including 12 in that 4th quarter. In an interview in 2006 by ESPN, Kobe was directly asked about the “Kobe Stopper” and he just said "Oh, come off it, are you kidding me?" Bryant said incredulously. "Last time I had like 40 against the guy." According to Ruben Patterson later on his career, Shawn Kemp gave him that nickname when he was in Portland and that Ruben never called himself the Kobe Stopper. But then why is there an article in 1999 from the LA Times that says you called yourself the Kobe Stopper. Forget all the stats. Forget all the other times Kobe roasted Ruben. Just know Kobe immortalized Rube Patterson in this one highlight and know, trash-talking Kobe doesn’t usually end well. But what do you think? Where do you rank Kobe all time?
I'm still in disbelief and relief over that shot
#Steve#Smith#in#disbelief#as#Riyan#Parag#suffers#bizarre#dismissal#in#KKR#vs #RR#clash Riyan Parag played a crucial knock on Thursday to help Rajasthan Royals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by three wickets at the Eden Gardens. The 17-year-old came of age to almost single-handedly take his side through under pressure. When the other senior batsmen in the side failed to deliver as the Royals kept losing wickets on regular intervals in the 176-run chase it was Parag who absorbed pressure and showed great composure to showcase his brilliance with the bat. RR were reeling on 78/4 with the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, Ben Stokes, Steve Smith and Sanju Samson all back in the hut when Parag came in to bat. He added two partnerships of 20 and 25 runs respectively with Stuart Binny and Shreyas Gopal before combining with Jofra Archer (27) to add another 44 runs for the seventh wicket to set up the chase for his side. However, Parag's innings ended in a dramatic manner after he was dismissed hit wicket as his bat hit the stumps while trying to play a shot of Andre Russell's bowling. The unlucky dismissal left Rajasthan skipper Smith in disbelief as he couldn't believe what happened. Parag was dismissed off the penultimate ball of the 19th over with Rajasthan requiring 9 runs to win off seven balls.
Kobe Bryant ending retirement to play with LeBron James would be ‘dope,’ says Matt Barnes lebron james, kobe bryant, lebron kobe, kobe unretire, kobe retirement, lebron lakers, los angeles lakers, nba, basketball, kobe lakers https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd4_4MPV20qVj80Rm_cQHOw?sub_confirmation=1 Well, Lakers fans can dare to dream, right? (Mark J. Terrill/Associated Press) Following the announcement that LeBron James was joining the Lakers, the team’s further moves in free agency, including adding Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee, struck many as, well, unexpected. But what if that was all a prelude to Los Angeles bringing aboard a certain recently retired franchise icon? Okay, Kobe Bryant almost certainly won’t be setting aside his new, Oscar-winning career as an entertainment industry entrepreneur to once again don the purple and gold and help James take on the Warriors. But if he did — man, that would be dope. At least, that was Matt Barnes’s take on the hypothetical scenario, when presented with it recently by a roving TMZ Sports reporter. Told that “L.A. is calling for Kobe to come out of retirement to play with LeBron,” and asked for his thoughts, the former Lakers teammate of Bryant’s said, “I think that’d be dope.” “Don’t know if it’ll happen,” Barnes added, before repeating his “dope” sentiment. He agreed that it sounded “like a big stretch,” if only because, with Bryant and himself both out of the NBA and nearing 40, “It’s not as easy to get that engine started anymore.” [LeBron James mural in Los Angeles quickly defaced, then restored] However, more than a few Lakers fans are hoping that the improbably does come to pass. That group includes LaMelo Ball, the youngest brother of Los Angeles point guard Lonzo Ball, who took to Twitter last week to wonder if it had been “planned [for] a long time” that Bryant would “come out of retirement to play [with] Bron.” Bryant, who retired from the NBA in 2016 after winning five championships and going to 18 All-Star Games with the Lakers, fanned a flame or two himself last week, when he said of James, “Whatever he needs, I got him.” Well, a glance at the team’s roster reveals that James could use an experienced teammate with perimeter defense and scoring skills, and as Paul George is staying in Oklahoma City, Bryant might just fit that bill nicely. For the Black Mamba, having a teammate of James’s caliber would make up somewhat for the final couple of years of his career, when he was miscast as the grizzled leader of a team otherwise featuring the very young likes of D’Angelo Russell, Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. In addition, wouldn’t Bryant, who famously idolized Michael Jordan, relish a chance to make one last run at tying the six NBA rings won by His Airness? Of course, if he were to help James win another championship (just to continue the suspension-of-disbelief portion of this article), Bryant would be pushing a rival superstar that much deeper into his own solid argument for GOAT status, and Bryant might well think twice about that. In any event, the Mamba said last month that he definitely wasn’t going to acquiesce to his friend Ice Cube’s multiple requests that he suit up for the Big3 league, so at least we know that’s not happening.
