Menno Bergsen geniet nog altijd van de stunt van FC Dordrecht tegen SC Cambuur in de eerste ronde van de nacompetitie. De jonge doelman, die in Leeuwarden debuteerde voor de Schapenkoppen, speelde een sterke wedstrijd. "Ik heb veel berichten gehad", blikt hij terug op het mirakel.Alle (media-)aandacht is helemaal nieuw voor Bergsen. Voorlopig kan hij zich focussen op voetbal, want de achttienjarige keeper heeft na het behalen van zijn diploma bewust een tussenjaar genomen. "Misschien dat ik school volgend jaar wil oppakken, maar door de voorbereiding van afgelopen zomer had ik geen tijd voor een opleiding."Bergsen keepte eerder in de jeugd van Sparta, de komende tegenstander van FC Dordrecht in de nacompetitie. Hij kan niet wachten op dit duel: "We hebben veel oud-Spartanen in de selectie. Dit vinden we zeker leuk."
