Until his opponent asked the ref to stop the game right in the middle of the match. The boy was confused, not knowing what was going on. Suddenly the opponent took off his helmet and came over to shake hands with him. Because of the fact that this boy had a serious brain injury, but he really wanted to come back, and this was his first match after he got better. The rest of the opposing team ran up and gathered all around him. They took off their hats as a way to show respect for his bravery. They wanted to express how much they cared and wanted him back. He was about to win, but exhaustion hit him and he couldn't run. As he was so close to being first, another runner overtook him, only caring about crossing the finish line. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop falling. Seeing them pass him like that really hurt him. He kept crawling, hoping to reach the line. He needed to get there before it was too late. Another runner was about to overtake him too. He felt like his dream was fading away right before his eyes. But what came as a surprise was that this runner decided to give up on his chances of winning and immediately lifted him up. Iftikhar Ahmed, skipper of the Surrey Jaguars and Chris Lynn, leading the Montreal Tigers came out for the coin toss. The Tigers called it correctly, won the toss, and chose to bowl first. The star-studded openers from the Surrey Jaguars, Litton Das, and Alex Hales walked into the middle, with Carlos Brathwaite taking the new ball from the Tigers camp. It took just 3 deliveries for Kaleem Sana to get rid of Alex Hales for just 1 run. Next in came the aggressive batter from Oman, Jatinder Singh, who started off playing some wonderful strokes. The Tigers then turned to their star all-rounder Shakib al Hasan to weave his magic and bring them back into the game. As expected Shakib delivered in his very first over, and took the wicket of Litton Das. Soon following Litton to the dressing room was Jatinder Singh, who in an attempt to hit Abbas Afridi got hold out in the deep. In the very next over Shakib struck once again but this time with the help of a stunner from Muhammad Waseem in the deep. It was the big Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting who came in next. He showed some intent, while Iftikhar at the other end was struggling. A tight bowling and fielding effort from the Tigers kept Iftikhar Ahmed from unleashing and ensured they restrict the Jaguars within a chaseable total. The Jaguars finished their 20 overs with 138 on the board. The Tigers leader Chris Lynn was accompanied by his attacking companion Muhammad Waseem from UAE. Lynn freed his arms and started playing his natural game before Bernard Scholtz uprooted his middle stump with an unplayable yorker. Shakib al Hasan came out all guns blazing from ball one. He took on the bowlers that made the Jaguars turn to their star spinner Sandeep Lamichhane. He in his very first ball of the match forced an error from Shakib, getting his wicket. A couple of quick wickets of Waseem and Rutherford brought back the Jaguars back into the game. The youngsters Dilpreet Singh Bajwa and the Nepal international Dipendra Singh Airee from the Tigers camp came together to forge a partnership. The Jaguars once again turned to Lamichhane to provide them a breakthrough, and he responded to this request, removing his countryman Dipendra Singh Airee by trapping him in front of the wicket. This brought Carlos Brathwaite to the crease. We all remember his name for one thing, and he did just that.
