Ipswich’s Wardley defends his WBO world heavyweight title to former world champion Dubois this weekend on May 9 at the Co-op Live in Manchester. Fabio Wardley has called for Daniel Dubois to make it “a firefight” straightaway when they box for his WBO heavyweight world title next month. Wardley is a finisher himself, notably when stopping Justis Huni late on and Frazer Clarke early in their rematch. He beat Joseph Parker last year too and is now the WBO heavyweight world champion. He intends to take the fight to Dubois from the first bell. "We have all the intention as a team of getting straight in there and getting straight stuck in, getting into his face and making it a fight, making it a firefight," Wardley told Sky Sports News.
