On March 16, 2007, Kobe Bryant delivered one of the greatest scoring performances in NBA history, exploding for 65 points in a 116–111 overtime victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. Facing a seven-game losing streak, Kobe completely took over the game, scoring 33 points in the fourth quarter and overtime combined while repeatedly hitting impossible clutch shots to force overtime and carry the Lakers to victory. Bryant finished: 23-for-39 from the field 8-for-12 from three-point range 11-for-12 from the free throw line The performance launched one of the greatest scoring streaks ever seen in the NBA, as Kobe went on to score 50+ points in four consecutive games.
