The Mets erased a 5-2 deficit in the bottom of the seventh thanks to some timely offense. Francisco Alvarez worked a leadoff walk, Luisangel Acuña followed with a single, and Brandon Nimmo was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Francisco Lindor drove in a run on a fielder’s choice, and Juan Soto delivered the big blow with a game-tying two-run single.
