Arsenal's Unai Emery refuses to discuss Granit Xhaka omission
Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka will not play against Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday, but head coach Unai Emery refused to discuss the issue at his press conference, calling for "100%" focus on the match. Xhaka remonstrated with supporters as he was jeered leaving the pitch during Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last Sunday. The midfielder cupped his ears, removed his shirt and batted away Emery's hand as he left the pitch, leaving his position as captain in doubt. Two goals from halfway in 90 seconds in Japanese football match
A goal from behind the halfway line is a rare sight in football, yet in the J2 League in Japan Montedio Yamagata managed to score two of them in 90 seconds. The two strikes from the home side caught the Ehime goalkeeper Masahiro Okamoto off guard on Sunday. The goals were scored by Shun Nakamura and Tatushiro Sakamoto. Typhoon Hagibis: Canadian rugby players help clean-up operation in Japan
After Canada's final game of the Rugby World Cup was cancelled due to the damage caused by Typhoon Hagibis, the players took to the streets to lend a helping hand in the clean-up operation. The Canada players were seen shovelling mud, carrying furniture and debris after the storm passed through on Sunday. Typhoon Hagibis has left at least 23 people dead and cut power to almost half a million homes across the country.
