Messi Best Solo Goal , Messi Best Goal , Messi Best Solo Goal Ever , Messi Best Goal Ever in Career , Messi Goal vs Getafe , Messi Solo Goal vs Getafe CF 2007 , ~The story of Best Goal Ever Told by Getafe Players: There were 28 minutes on the clock and Barcelona were already ahead against Getafe. The two teams were playing for a place in the final of the Copa delleader Rey and Frank Rijkaard's side (European champions at that time) had taken the lead through Xavi (Messi assist). However, neither he nor any of the souls present at Camp Nou imagined that they were about to witness one of the most beautiful goals in football history. Probably the best goal ever. Xavi, in his own half, spread the ball out wide to Leo Messi, who received possession with two subtle touches to leave Javier Paredes in his slipstream. "I could have fouled him at that point but I didn't think it was a good option because it would have cost me a yellow card and I never thought he would do what he did," the left-back (now at Albacete) told. When Paredes looked to react, Messi had already touched the ball a third time to nutmeg Nacho Perez. "I want to clarify that the ball touched both of my legs, it wasn't as delicate as the ones we have become used to from Messi!" the midfielder (who is now at Betis) joked. "I was playing as a left winger that day, but I tracked back to help Paredes and in my hurry to get in position I went really quickly and he nutmegged me." With Paredes and Nacho in pursuit, Messi then headed for Luis Garcia's goal. "At one moment I was able to catch him up and I put my hand on him," Nacho added. "When he got to the edge of the box I blocked his right side, but somehow he found a way to go left." There, Alexis Ruano and David Belenguer were waiting. "When he got away from Nacho, the alarm bells sounded because we were all caught out," Belenguer said. Messi had space ahead of him and none of his markers were able to bring him down like their coach Bernd Schuster said they should have done after the game. "With hindsight it's very easy to say we should have brought him down," Nacho said. "Back in defence we hoped they would stop him however they could," Belenguer added. But they couldn't. And when he got to the edge of the box, the possibility of bringing him down was no longer an option. Alexis, in any case, had already been booked. So Belenguer, who is now retired, slid in to try and stop Messi escaping outside him. "I deflected the ball very slightly, but it wasn't enough," he lamented. Lionel Messi had now beaten four rivals and he was inside the area. The fans were watching with their mouths open. Now he had only the goalkeeper to beat. Luis Garcia came out as he should after the Argentine had beaten the last two defenders, but there was little he could do. Messi went outside again, giving David Cortes time to come across and stop the goal. But the right-back, now at Aarhus in Switzerland, thought the Barca forward would finish with a low shot and threw himself to the ground to block the effort. Messi, astute as ever, read his intentions and put the cherry on the cake with a delicate lob that kissed the Getafe net as the fans went wild. "It was hard to be on the end of that, but we have seen him do a thousand things better than that goal since," Cortes said.

#messi #messigoles #messiskills #futbol #messicampeon #topgoles #messigol #maradona #getafe #golalgetafe

Ranking EVERY Champions League Winning Team From Worst To Best (2003-2023)
Ranking EVERY Champions League Winning Team From Worst To Best (2003-2023)

NOT The conventional Tier List! 00:52 - No. 20. The Miracle of Instanbul in 2005 was iconic. But the actual Liverpool team were far from great. They had Jamie Carragher. He's rubbish. I don't know Keane and Neville don't mention this on the overlap. He was a DREADFUL player! 01: 37: No. 19. Chelsea's 19th May 2012 victory over Bayern Munich AT THE ALLIANZ was also an amazing story. But again, the team wasn't great. Still though, Torres rounding Valdes in the Semi-Final... Chef's kiss! 02:10 - No. 18. AC Milan are lower than you expect. 02:50 - No. 17. Chelsea sacking managers may make more sense than you think. Pochettino should be careful! 03:20 - No. 16. What Jose Mourinho did with FC Porto was INSANE! He may even repeat it with AD Roma! 04:06 - No. 15. Real Madrid 2022 may have been the only Real side that were underdogs! Benzema's Ballon d'Or was well deserved! 05:00 - No. 14. Bale and Ronaldo's bicycle kicks be damned, the last Real Madrid 3-peat side wasn't as good as you think! 06:04 - No. 13. Liverpool 2018/2019 may have been the greatest runners-up in Premier League history. But outside the corner taken quickly Origi stuff, they weren't great European champions. 06:54 - No. 12. Real Madrid 2016 were underrated. They were undefeated in the group stages. And even after Benitez was sacked and Zidane came in, their UCL run was great fun to watch! 07:34 - No. 11. Barcelona's 2015 treble winners, much like the MSN front three, are extremely overrated. 09:00 - No. 10. Rijkaard and Ronaldinho's Barcelona may not have had Messi playing very often, but they were EASILY a better team than the 2015 side. 09:32 - No. 9. Another underdog team led by Jose Mourinho. Inter Milan 2010, unlike Inter Milan 2023 vs. Manchester City, just knew how to get the job done! 10:10 - No. 8. The second of the Real Madrid 3-peat sides. Legendary team that are STUPIDLY accused of being favoured by referees. This is where Ronaldo cemented his legacy as the greatest big game player of all time. 10:48 - No. 7. Manchester United 2008 are not the greatest United side in history. But Sir Alex Ferguson's last great side of Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo and co. were still very much a force to be reckoned with. The Moscow rain brings back some memories! Ronaldo will return to Al-Nassr training soon.. perhaps he can recreate something like that in the Saudi Pro League! 11:42 - No. 6. Bayern Munich 2020 were a little forgotten due to the pandemic. But they were INSANE! Lewandowski was robbed 2 years in a row. First by COVID, then by Messi. 12:53 - No. 5. Bayern Munich 2013 team were better as a team. They beat Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate! Barcelona had 100 points in La Liga that season! 13:44 - No. 4 - Pep Guardiola's Barcelona 2011 are a little overrated. They were aided by referees. But still, legendary. 15:33 - No. 3. Manchester City 22/23 treble winners may be a little UNDERRATED because of how recent they are. Their 1-0 win over Inter Milan in Istanbul shouldn't be a lasting image. They DOMINATED teams like Bayern and Real. Erling Haaland is the real deal. He should take the Ballon d'Or home. No question. Gundogan to Barcelona will NOT hurt them much! 16:18 - No. 2. Barcelona 08/09 is Pep Guardiola's best team ever. They were simply amazing. Not only did they destroy SAF's Manchester United in Rome, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to find a fault in their side! 17:04 - No. 1. Real Madrid's La Decima side is the PERFECT Champions League team. The BBC front three were ALL in their prime. Carlo Ancelotti created a scary MACHINE! 14 years since Ronaldo signed for Real Madrid. And this was his first AND best UCL winning team! #championsleague #ucl
