The first match of the series will be played between the Asian neighbours at Hagley Oval Christchurch with temperatures expected to be around 4 degrees celsius. Pakistan are coming off a 4-3 series loss against the English side who dominated them in their own backyard. Despite some good performances from the opener Mohammed Rizwan the Men in Green were outplayed by the pace of their opponents which might be a big concern for them in this series too. On the other hand Bangladesh won their previous two-match series against the UAE where they did not miss the opportunity to defeat a slightly weaker side.
