✅ Subscribe ©Titans Volleyball LIFE ➤ https://goo-gl.me/bxJU1 ===================================================== | Bangkok, Thailand, June 5, 2019 – Ten blocks were key as Turkey won their second match of week 3 over Bulgaria in straights sets 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-23) at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok on Wednesday. Giovanni Guidetti, coach of Turkey: "Of course it was great to get three points. We played very good volleyball in every part of the game in the first two sets but in the third set, I am not happy about how we played. If we want to become a better team, we should not drop our level." When asked about the team’s chances against Thailand for the next match, he added: "Tomorrow, of course, it is going to be a very difficult game for us. First of all, everybody knows how amazing Thailand can play volleyball. Because they can play well in every element of the game. It will be a very complicated game playing in front of this amazing crowd. So we are very excited to play this kind of match. We have to study and prepare ourselves." Kubra Chaliskan, captain of Bulgaria: "It is good to get the win. We will continue playing like this. I look forward to a tough match against Thailand tomorrow." Ivan Petkov, coach of Bulgaria: "Congratulations to the Turkey team. They played very well today. For us, I don’t know how to say because we have a lot of problems especially, reception, defense, and blocking, so we could not make good attacks. I think we have to keep practicing really hard." Lora Kitipova, captain of Bulgaria: "I don’t know what to say about our game because I think it was the worst match for us. Turkey played really well. So congratulations to them for the victory." Marko Vesovic raised the decibel level in the stadium when he fired the hosts in front against the run of play in the 17th minute, but England were unfazed and went ahead by halftime thanks to goals by Michael Keane and Barkley. Montenegro were still a threat early in the second half and Fatos Beciraj could have equalised, but when Barkley drilled in his second just before the hour the result was a formality. Skipper Harry Kane tapped home the fourth goal from Raheem Sterling's cut back after a swift counter-attack and Sterling slid home in the 81st minute to complete the rout. Unfortunately, the game was marred by alleged racist chanting by Montenegro fans towards Danny Rose, who reacted angrily towards the end of the game as tempers flared. 4 hours ago Full-time Portugal 1-1 Serbia - another frustrating result for the Portuguese there... Ronaldo was forced off after just half an hour after pulling up injured in Serbia's half. The 31-year-old received treatment near the corner flag but could not continue, and appeared to have tweaked his hamstring. Ronaldo's injury will come as an unwelcome setback to Juventus, who face Ajax in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on April 10. Juve head to Amsterdam for the first leg, before taking on the Dutch giants in Turin on April 16. The Bianconeri needed every ounce of Ronaldo's brilliance in the last round, as his stunning hat-trick capped a remarkable comeback win over Atletico Madrid. Ronaldo's potential absence will be a huge boost to Ajax, who have already proved their credentials in the Champions League by knocking out holders Real Madrid. Bad news for Portugal - and potentially for Juventus - as Cristiano Ronaldo has gone off injured.
