Giovanni Guidetti, coach of Turkey: "Of course it was great to get three points. We played very good volleyball in every part of the game in the first two sets but in the third set, I am not happy about how we played. If we want to become a better team, we should not drop our level." When asked about the team’s chances against Thailand for the next match, he added: "Tomorrow, of course, it is going to be a very difficult game for us. First of all, everybody knows how amazing Thailand can play volleyball. Because they can play well in every element of the game. It will be a very complicated game playing in front of this amazing crowd. So we are very excited to play this kind of match. We have to study and prepare ourselves." Kubra Chaliskan, captain of Bulgaria: "It is good to get the win. We will continue playing like this. I look forward to a tough match against Thailand tomorrow." Ivan Petkov, coach of Bulgaria: "Congratulations to the Turkey team. They played very well today. For us, I don’t know how to say because we have a lot of problems especially, reception, defense, and blocking, so we could not make good attacks. I think we have to keep practicing really hard." Lora Kitipova, captain of Bulgaria: "I don’t know what to say about our game because I think it was the worst match for us. Turkey played really well. So congratulations to them for the victory."
