Rodrigo Riquelme opened the scoring for the Spaniards before Nelson Deossa doubled their lead with a stunning strike against the run of play. Piero Hincapie headed in from close range from a Christos Tzolis corner before Pablo Fornals restored Betis' two-goal advantage just before the break. In the second-half we heavily rotated, giving an opportunity to a host of academy players as we finished the game 3-1.
