Weber State's Sherwin Lavaka hits Northern Colorado quarterback Dylan McCaffrey with his helmet and targeting is called. After a video review, Lavaka is ejected from this game, 11/20/21. But McCaffrey also leaves the game and appears injured. This was a cheap shot by Lavaka meant to knock McCaffrey out of the game, in my opinion. Northern Colorado's backup quarterback who has to enter this game ends up throwing three pick sixes.

After an incredible victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday, our Washington Football Team (3-6) travels to Bank of America Stadium to take on the Carolina Panthers (5-5), reenergized by the return of QB Cam Newton. The Panthers overview touches on the energy that Cam Newton has brought to their team, how underrated their defense is, and looking at what they've done in the last 3 games. When the Panthers have been healthy (Stephon Gilmore and Christian McCaffrey both playing), they have been rock solid. When McCaffrey plays, Carolina is 4-1 on the season. When Stephon Gilmore has played (last 3 games), they're allowing an average opponent passer rating around 67, which is good for 2nd best in the NFL. We jump into the WFT Offense, led by Taylor Heinicke, against the Carolina Panthers defense. What do we need to do in order to achieve success against the Panthers?
