However, Dinesh Karthik gave a real scare by hitting some big ones in the last few overs with a 14-ball 34. It was only a matter of time for CSK’s victory as Karthik was dismissed in the 18th over of the game. He added that Hasaranga should have come earlier and it was a big surprise that the Sri Lankan wrist-spinner did not complete his quota of four overs as well while the other bowlers were taken to the cleaners. “CSK tactically superior last night. They bowled 7 overs of spin in the first 10 overs compared to 3 from RCB. Hasaranga not bowling his first over till the 11th was a blunder. Have to give your secret weapon an over earlier than that. #CSKvsRCB #IPL2022,” Hogg tweeted This is RCB’s second loss in the tournament and their next game will be against the Delhi Capitals on 16th April (Saturday), while CSK will play the Gujarat Titans on 17th April (Sunday).
