There are however some positives to take away from the first preseason game of the year. Tua Tagovailoa impressed in his three drives outside of an interception in the red zone. He was throwing to all three levels of the field with accuracy. Mike Gesicki was a surprise active for the game as he a was activated from the reserve/covid 19 list earlier in the week. The Dolphins secondary didn't miss a beat without their two star CB's in Xavien Howard and Byron jones. The secondary made things difficult for the Bears early and often. Dolphins Winners After Preseason Week 1 vs Bears: - Tua Tagovailoa - Mike Gesicki - Secondary The Miami Dolphins lost their preseason openers vs. the Chicago Bears and with the outcome not going the Dolphins way, there are some are some losers from the Dolphins effort. LT Austin Jackson struggled and allowed the Bears pass rush to disrupt Tua in the pocket. The rest of the Dolphins offensive line also struggled outside of RT Jesse Davis. This unit is a cause for concern at the moment. The offense struggled at finishing drives with Tua in as QB. This is something to monitor in the remaining preseason games.
