Welcome to another review of another Oxford United game. Today the yellows were away at Doncaster Rovers. OUFC made hard work of it as it finished Doncaster Rovers 1-2 Oxford United. After a decent 1-1 draw against Sunderland, OUFC travelled to face a Doncaster side who have been really struggling in League One this season. Everyone connected to Oxford Utd were hoping for an easy win, and after the first half it looked like it would be the case. Rovers were all over the place and Oxford led 1-0 thanks to Mark Sykes. Despite dominating Oxford could not kill the game off as Gavin Whyte and Matty Taylor both had goals ruled out for offside. Donny were much better in the 2nd half and DRFC equalise through Branden Horton. Its looked like 2 points dropped for Oxford as the game became more frustrating, but the GOAT stepped up. Thatβs right James Henry scored a great winner which meant OUFC finally got the win in this Sky Bet League One game. Oxford move into the EFL league One playoffs. For Doncaster its another defeat in what has been a terrible 2021. Hope you enjoyed this Very Biased Opinions review.
