Blackburn Rovers started 2018 in unimpressive style as they could only pick up a draw agains Red Hot Rotherham United. Rovers thought they had won all 3 points thats to a cracking goal by Bradley Dack however they were undone right at the death as Rotherham United equalized from a corner. Northampton Town vs Blackburn Rovers (1-1)| Match Review | 23rd December 2017
Blackburn Rovers looking for win number 7 however that was the case. Instead Blackburn had to settle for a point away at Northampton Town. Courtesy of a goal from Bradley Dack Rover should have won the match after being awarded a penalty however Marcus Antonsson failed to deliver. Before that incident Rovers had a golden (excuse the pun) opportunity to add to their goal tally as Craig Conway had an open goal opportunity to win it, but he push it wide. Match Vlog from today's game against bury at Gigg lane; good 3-0 win for the lads today considering that we didn't play at our best. Marcus Antonsson was the man on form today bagging himself 2 goals as well as dack scoring making it his 5th of the season. Blackburn Rovers ended halloween the worse for wear after dropping what could be 2 valuable points against Fleetwood Town. The visitors came from behind twice and bagged themselves a well earned point on a night of scary defending. Blackburn managed goals from Bradley Dack and debutant Joe Nuttall, in a match that lifts the club to 6th in the league, however many fans will feel the result feels more like a defeat that a draw.
