Fue al término del primer tiempo que Alejandra Curiel abrió el marcador y rompió esa racha negativa de no poder anotar en este certamen, desde los once pasos le daba la mínima ventaja a las Bravas. Ya en la parte complementaria, apareció Alicia Cervantes al minuto 54, bajó la pelota con gran técnica y dentro del área se acomodó para marcar la paridad en el Olímpico Benito Juárez. Las Chivas se impusieron en casa al vencer a León en la Jornada 3 del Torneo Grita México A21 de la LIGA BBVA MX, con esto las Rojiblancas llegaron a 7 unidades ubicándose en el séptimo lugar y León sigue sin poder sumar en este certamen.
