Amad Diallo has played over 2,000 minutes in the Premier League this season and has only registered 2 goals and 2 assists. That means he is getting a goal contribution roughly every 500 minutes. If we look back at Antony's worst stretches, or Jadon Sancho's 2022/23 season before he was exiled, they actually produced double the goals in fewer minutes. We ran Memphis Depay out of Old Trafford for scoring 2 goals, yet we are giving Amad a free pass because of his "link-up play" and "vibes." As we head into the massive fixture against Liverpool to secure Champions League football after that disastrous 0-0 draw against Sunderland, Manchester United cannot afford to carry passengers. The INEOS rebuild demands ruthlessness, yet we are relying on an average winger who isn't producing the numbers required for a top-level Premier League side. Why is the Manchester United fanbase so protective of Amad? If any other rival team had a winger with 2 goals in 2,000 minutes, we would be laughing at them. It's time to wake up.
