In their first trip to MSG since the 2021 NBA playoffs, Trae Young led the Hawks to a (117-111) victory against the New York Knicks. Trae Young continued to shine on the Broadway stage in New York City. Young scored 45 points on the night along with 8 assists. Young was efficient from behind the three point line as well knocking down 7 triples. Hawks guard Bogdan Bogdanovic has been a man on a mission during his last week. On Tuesday night, Bogi Bogdanovic scored 32 points. Bogdanovic is averaging 27.7 points per game over the past three games. K'Andre Miller's game winner saves the day as Rangers survive Kraken | Postgame Report
After losing a heartbreaker against the Wild on Friday Night, the Rangers looked to deliver a Sunday win for the Garden faithful as they battled the Seattle Kraken. Seattle played a cleaner brand of hockey and controlled the forecheck and shot count from the moment the puck dropped. However, the Rangers took an early lead thanks to a goal from Mika Zibanejad (with assists coming from Trouba and Panarin) Later on, Alexis Lafrèniere made it 2-0 with an easy tap-in. Eventually, the Kraken's dominance paid off as Jared McCann trimmed the lead to 1 and Yanni Gourde tied it at 2 at the 18:52 mark. Just as all signs pointed to overtime, defenseman K'Andre Miller saved the Broadway Blueshirts, scoring the game-winner with just 33.7 second remaining in regulation. Today's final was the New York Rangers 3, Seattle Kraken 2. Avalanche score five unanswered, dominate Huska's Rangers debut | Postgame Report
The New York Rangers lost in obvious fashion on Wednesday night as they were easily handled by the Colorado Avalanche. With Igor Shesterkin injured and Alexander Georgiev taking a needed day of rest, Adam Huska made the start in net for the Broadway Blueshirts. Colorado outplayed the Rangers from the second period onward as the Avalanche scored five unanswered goals after a 2-1 score at the end of the first and ultimately won by a mark of 7-3. Jacob Trouba, Filip Chytil and Nils Lundkvist scored goals for New York with Alexis Lafrèniere, K'Andre Miller, Ryan Reaves, Artemi Panarin, Jacob Trouba and Nils Lundkvist all recording assists.
