MY year of sports photography started on January 1, New Year's Day, with Arsenal's Olivier Giroud scoring one of the most amazing goals I've ever snapped. The Frenchman's "Scorpion" goal even won him Fifa's Goal of the Year - what a way to start 2017.But of course, this year has been full of incredible sport and with it, some sublime images. There was the big grudge fight between David Haye and Tony Bellew and domestic football trophies won by Manchester United and Chelsea, while Huddersfield were promoted to the Premier League.I started getting ready for the Winter Olympics by photographing our Olympians as early as May, with British short-track speed-skater Elise Christie the focus. The World Athletics Championships were a great success for Mo Farah ,while the party-ending race with Usain Bolt vs Justin Gatlin certainly drew a crowd. And then there was Harry Kane securing England's place in the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia.Check out my pictures of the year, below.ARSENAL vs Crystal Palace was my first game of the New Year.working while sick with flu feeling like a you-know-what.But life has to go on as the chief sports photographer for The Sun.This snap was taken on a Canon1dx mkii with a 70.200mm lens. David Haye vs Tony Bellew was the big grudge-match fight of the year at London's O2.Haye horrifically injured his Achilles during the fight and in round 11 Haye was knocked out of the ring before the fight was stopped. This image was taken on a Canon 1dxii with a 14mm lens. I ALWAYS look forward to the FA Cup and working with the smaller clubs, with the lower league sides taking on the big boys.My job for the day was working alongside Adebayo Akinfenwa of Wycombe Wanderers. The size of the lad worked superbly for this exclusive picture, as he donned his Beast Mode Hat, with the sunlight going down.IN the dying minutes of the League Cup final between Manchester United and Southampton, it was all square at Wembley Stadium. But Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored to make it 3-2 to United, as this dramatic low-angle picture taken with a remote camera captured the goal perfectly.Taken on a Canon 1dxmkii with a 24mm 1.4lens with Pocket Wizzard controllers to fire the camera. LEICESTER'S brave hopes of making the Champions League semi-final against Sevilla were ultimately left unfulfilled.During the clash, Jamie Vardy showed his sheer frustration after being clean through on goal.and missing. He punches himself in the face with a perfect right hook to the chin - any boxer would have been proud of this KO punch.Picture taken on Canon 1dxmkii with a 300mm lens. IT'S the transfer story the entire league is talking about.Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City.In this snap, Pep Guardiola gives the Chilean forward a cheeky, knowing grin after their Premier League showdown.Could Sanchez be on the way, on a free at that, next summer? IT was the final day of the season.as champions Chelsea went up against relegated Sunderland. After the game, Diego Costa and Willian snapped
subscribers my chanel hendon score 90th minute leveller to force a replay with Slough Town in FA Trophy 2017 football Hendon 1, Slough Town 1 A 90th minute equaliser from Hendon’s Kezie Ibe means Slough Town will have to replay at Arbour Park on Tuesday night for a place in the first round of the FA Trophy. The Rebels looked to be booking their place in the next round when Chris Flood did well down the left and pulled the ball back for James Dobson to finish low into the net in the 61st minute. But, just as they did at Banbury United in the league on Tuesday night, the Rebels conceded late on when the ball was poked home by Ibe from close range following a scramble in the area. Dobson came closer to giving the visitors the lead in the first half when his snap shot from 25 yards clattered against the post. Flood’s follow up in the same move was then saved by the Hendon keeper. The sides will replay the third qualifying round match on Tuesday night, kick-off 7.45pm. -- Beaconsfield Town 4, Marlow 0 Beaconsfield Town claimed their revenge on Marlow for knocking them out of the FA Cup earlier in the season as they thrashed the Blues 4-0 at Holloways Park this afternoon. Aaron Minhas put the home side on their way to a convincing home win when he fired them ahead with a cheeky chip from a quick throw in. One became two shortly after the half-time interval when Minhas burst through on the Blues goal and fired the ball through Simon Grant’s legs. Goldy Capela got on the scoresheet when he turned sharply and stroked the ball into the bottom left hand corner of Grant’s net. Capela then rounded off the scoring when he met Minhas’ cross with a powerful header to make it 4-0. -- Windsor 2, Burnham 0 Windsor got back to winning ways over struggling Burnham at Stag Meadow this afternoon, but they had to wait until the final 10 minutes to see off the stubborn challenge of Alan Paris’ men. Manager Mick Woodham would have expected his Royalists side to bag all three points and they duly obliged, but they had to wait until the 85th minute to take the lead, when former Premier League striker Barry Hayles found the net. Victory was confirmed a minute later when Riccardo Cannon added a second to deflate Burnham after a brave rearguard display. Windsor, who haven’t produced their best performances at home this season, will be pleased to have taken the points in front of their own fans and to have got back to winning ways after their mid-week home defeat to Abingdon United. -- Henley Town P-P Holyport Holyport’s Hellenic League Division 1 East encounter at Henley Town was postponed today because the Red Kites’ pitch was waterlogged in places. The game will be replayed later in the season. -- Reading 0, Sheffield Wednesday 0 Neither side was able to make the breakthrough as Reading held Sheffield Wednesday to a stalemate at the Madejski Stadium this afternoon. One of the game’s best chances fell to Modou Barrow with 10 minutes to play but he failed to steer his shot on target from Boovarsson’s cut back. The Royals had the run of the game in the first period but it remained goalless and the closest they came was a header from Liam Moore that went over the bar, while Sone Aluko fired wide of the post in the sixth minute after being sent in on goal. -- Wycombe Wanderers 2, Yeovil Town 1 All the goals came in the first half as Wycombe Wanderers claimed a 2-1 win over Yeovil Town at Adams Park. The inform Chairboys had to wait until the 35th minute to take the lead when a deep cross fell for Ebere Eze and he lashed the ball into the far corner of the net for his third goal in as many home games. The home side then doubled their lead when Paris Cowan-Hall was brought down for a penalty in the 42nd minute and Joe Jacobson made no mistake from the spot. Manager Gareth Ainsworth would have wanted, and expected, his side to have carried that advantage into the interval, but they weren’t able to do so and Zoko fired in from close range in the 44th minute to bring the visitors back into contention. No further goals followed – although Adebayo Akinfenwa struck the bar with very nearly the last kick - and the 3,834 inside Adams Park were able to celebrate another heart warming win on a chilly November day. Ainsworth said afterwards: “It’s a good win. I was really disappointed we let them back in the game; it was a poor mistake. But we kept spirits up & did a professional job.” ||Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100017952030223 ||YouTub;https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsCQjJLuCJCgEV2OZglc1JQ ||google:https://plus.google.com/b/106076117085030735863/106076117085030735863
