SAN FRANCISCO -- Wilmer Flores swung -- or he didn't -- and that was it. Last call for the San Francisco Giants. A surprising and spectacular ride for the Giants came to a startling halt Thursday night. Flores slowly walked back to the dugout after being called out on a disputed check-swing, finishing a 2-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 5 of the National League Division Series.

Chris Taylor's Walk-Off Homer Sends Dodgers to NLDS in 3-1 Victory Over Cardinals in NL Wild Card Game. Chris Taylor's two-out, two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a 3-1 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Wild Card Game on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium. #Wildcard #Dodgers #walkoff
PHOENIX -- Adam Duvall passed teammate Austin Riley while running the bases after a drive over the wall in left-center, costing the Atlanta Braves slugger his 38th homer of the season. Duvall was ultimately credited with a two-run single on the bizarre first-inning play in Wednesday night's 9-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. It happened because Riley thought the ball had been caught. #Braves #Duvall #MLB
an Diego Padres stars Fernando Tatis and Manny Machado got into a heated confrontation in the dugout at Busch Stadium on Saturday night during their 3-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. SAN DIEGO -- Jake Cronenworth, no stranger to big hits amid this wild Padres postseason push, delivered arguably his biggest on Sunday afternoon, a walk-off solo home run as the Padres beat the Astros, 4-3, at Petco Park. Cronenworth turned around a Ryan Stanek splitter, and by the time it landed in the right-field seats, the Padres had retaken their spot in the National League playoff picture, ahead of the Reds by half a game for the second Wild Card spot. #Padres #Astros #Cronenworth
MILWAUKEE -- It was Ryan Braun's bobblehead day at American Family Field, and what a fitting finish. After one comeback bid was denied in the eighth inning, they mounted another in the bottom of the ninth, when Daniel Vogelbach connected against Cardinals closer Alex Reyes for a 6-5 Milwaukee win on a walk-off grand slam. It was the Brewers’ eighth walk-off grand slam in franchise history, and the first since Braun’s against the Pirates on Sept. 25, 2008, as that team was pushing for the postseason. This Brewers team is doing the same, and it lowered its magic number to clinch the National League Central to 14 with Sunday’s comeback victory and the Reds’ loss. #Brewers #Cardinals #MLB
