Both these teams haven't had the best of tournaments so far having won just two of their six matches so far. The Dragons have a better net run rate in this regard but the Warriors need to play out of their skins to harbour hopes of going through to the next four. Both teams still have a theoretical chance of going through to the next four but it certainly looks very bleak. The Dragons gave their best in the previous match against the Titans but eventually fell short by 33 runs in the pursuit of a target of 168. The result of this match might not have a great bearing on the tournament but we can be in for a classic encounter. We are in here for the last match of the league stage in the CSA T20 Challenge 2022 as Warriors take on North West Dragons at St. George's Park in the beautiful city of Port Elizabeth. This is game number 28 and doesn't have any threat on the teams that are at the top 4 in the points table. Currently, Warriors are at the 6th position with 8 points from 6 matches while North West Dragons are at the 5th place with 9 points from same number of matches as the Warriors. If Warriors win then they will occupy the fifth place and if they lose then there will be no change on the positions of the teams in the table. In their previous game, Warriors beat Lions by 5 wickets with 25 balls remaining. They were clinical with both bat and ball. All-round performance from Wihan Lubbe, Ndwandwa's terrific spell with the ball and Ngoepe's match winning cameo were the highlights from this game. But they haven't been at their best throughout the tournament as they won only 2 out of 6 games which is the reason why they are eliminated from the race to play-off. Today they will try to end the season on a winning note. North West Dragons, who are at the similar position as that of their opponents but just ahead by them with a margin of one point. They also won just two games out of 6 played and are also out from the play-off race. Their previous game was nothing good to remember as they bowed down to Titans by 33 runs. They finished on 134/7 chasing 168 runs to win. They didn't make enough inroads in their opponents batting line-up and also didn't bat well enough to hunt the target down. This has been their story in almost every matches they have played. They will like to end the tournament on a high and secure their 5th spot in the table.

As we come closer and closer to the business end of the CSA T20 Challenge 2022 we are getting more and more mouth-watering fixtures. We are now in the 26th game of this tournament. This time it's the Rocks who are playing the Knights at the St. George's Park in Port Elizabeth. Rocks are currently sitting safe at the third spot with 17 points from 6 matches and this is their last match of the league stage. They are almost certain of playing in the second semi-final. On the other hand, Knights who are having a poor tournament as they are at the last position with just 4 points from 6 matches and add to that it is also their last match in the league stage. But they will love a win to end their campaign. In their last match, Rocks won against Dolphins defending a low total of 120 runs. They won the game by a margin of just 8 runs. Their bowlers were able to sneak through the overs quickly without leaking much runs. And also they took wickets at crucial moments. Rocks initially lost a couple of games but then they made a strong come back by winning back to back matches. Now they have enjoying a 4 match winning streak and will love to make it five heading in to the knockouts. Talking about Knights, they are having a poor season as they lost five games out of six played. In their last match, they lost to Lions by 5 wickets. They have problems in their batting department as well as in their bowling department. Neither they are posting formidable total nor they are able to defend the total which has been put on the board. They will like to end the season on a high and try to dent the confidence of their opponents. So this should be an intriguing fixture as one team is on a high at the top half of the table and the other which is trying to end the season on a winning note. North West Dragons vs Titans - 22nd-Feb-2022 - 25th Match - CSA T20 Challenge 2022
We are into the fag end of the league stage of the tournament and the hunt for top four still continues with a must-win fixture for North West against the strong Titans who are assured of a spot in the top four. Titans have won five out of six games and have 20 points to their name, standing at number 2 in the points table only behind Western Province. North West Dragons at the other hand have only nine points to their name with only a couple of victories in five games as they sit at the fifth spot hoping to win their remaining two games and also for the other results to go their way. The Titans' batting order has been boosted by the power packed performances from Heinrich Klaasen, seasoned campaigner Quinton de Kock and skipper Theunis de Bruyn. They also have the young gun Dewald Brevis who set the stage on fire at the recently concluded ICC Under-19 World cup and has scored 102 runs at an average of 34. Allrounder Dwaine Pretorius is leading the run charts for the North West franchise with 141 runs at an average of 35.25 with a highest score of 74 not out against Boland. The team is lacking in firepower this season as the only other batter to score over hundred runs in the season so far is opener Wesley Marshall. Junior Dala has set the tournament on fire with the ball for the Titans capturing eight wickets with an economy rate of 7.36. He is getting good support from his bowling partners Lizaad Williams, Tabraiz Shamsi (7 wickets apiece) and Aaron Phangiso. The North West bowling lineup boasts of talented bowlers like Senuran Muthusamy, Caleb Seleka, Johannes Diseko and Delano Potgieter.
