Jonathan Davis scored 10 points and made a couple big baskets to help Wisconsin begin pulling away after halftime, and the No. 21 Badgers overcame a poor shooting performance to beat Nebraska 61-48 on Wednesday night. D'Mitrik Trice, Aleem Ford and Brad Davison each scored nine points for the Badgers. Wisconsin (15-6, 9-5 Big Ten) swept the season series and have won six straight over the Huskers.

Freshman Jonathan Davis scored a career-high 17 points and the 19th-ranked Badgers resumed their dominance of the Nittany Lions with a 72-56 victory on Tuesday night. Brad Davison scored 13 points and made a 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer, giving Wisconsin a 33-31 lead it never relinquished. The shot was part of an 18-2 spurt that included two other 3s from Davison. The Badgers scored 15 of the first 17 points in the second half to extend their lead to 48-33. Penn State didn't get closer than 13 points the rest of the way.

Tyler Wahl paced a balanced attack with 14 points and No. 10 Wisconsin pulled away in the second half for a 68-52 victory over Northwestern. Wisconsin hosts No. 15 Ohio State on Saturday.

Graham Mertz threw for 130 yards and three touchdowns as Wisconsin turned four second-half interceptions into 21 points to beat Wake Forest 42-28 in the Duke's Mayo Bowl on Wednesday. Wisconsin (4-3) finished a challenging 2020 season on a high note. The victory gives the Badgers a 19th-consecutive season with a winning record, the third-longest streak among FBS teams. Wisconsin's 42 points is the highest scoring output for the Badgers in a bowl game, surpassing the previous record of 38 against Utah in the 1996 Copper Bowl. The Badgers came back to win after trailing 14-0, marking UW's largest ever comeback in a bowl game.
