After Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ended Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) unbeaten streak in the competition, on Sunday afternoon, SRH locked horns with DC in Chennai as the match went down to the wire. Opting to bat first, Pant & Co. managed a competitive 159-4, riding on Prithvi Shaw's 53 and handy knocks from Pant and Steve Smith. In reply, SRH lost David Warner (6) soon but were 104-3 in 14 overs before the match went to the Super Over. While Kane Williamson's 66 not out kept SRH in the hunt, he didn't get much support from the other end following Jonny Bairstow's dismissal (38 off 18 balls). What surprised many was that SRH team management went ahead with Warner and Williamson for the Super Over despite Bairstow's rapid knock. As SRH piled up only 7 runs in the Super Over, Pant-Shikhar Dhawan ended proceedings, in reply, by taking their side to a win eventually. Thus, Sehwag questioned SRH's tactics and tweeted, "Unless Bairstow was in toilet, can't get why would he not be your first choice in a #SuperOver when he scored 38 of 18 in the main innings and looked the cleanest hitter.
