In reply, SRH lost David Warner (6) soon but were 104-3 in 14 overs before the match went to the Super Over. While Kane Williamson's 66 not out kept SRH in the hunt, he didn't get much support from the other end following Jonny Bairstow's dismissal (38 off 18 balls). What surprised many was that SRH team management went ahead with Warner and Williamson for the Super Over despite Bairstow's rapid knock. As SRH piled up only 7 runs in the Super Over, Pant-Shikhar Dhawan ended proceedings, in reply, by taking their side to a win eventually. Thus, Sehwag questioned SRH's tactics and tweeted, "Unless Bairstow was in toilet, can't get why would he not be your first choice in a #SuperOver when he scored 38 of 18 in the main innings and looked the cleanest hitter.
