#MKDons #OxfordUtd #LeagueOne MK Dons 1-2 Oxford United, MK Dons vs Oxford Utd It's matchday in Sky Bet League One as Oxford United travel to MK Dons and it's 6th vs 7th! It's got everything to suggest this is going to be a fascinating League One encounter against two sides that have an identity to play an exciting brand of football. Oxford make two changes from the side that played and beat Doncaster on Tuesday as match-winner James Henry come into the side and Nathan Holland replaces Northern Ireland winger, Gavin Whyte. MK Dons are playing the 3-4-3 and, as always, looking for a real attacking intent this afternoon, with Scott Twine being their main man so far this season. Dean Lewington captains the side for MK Dons on this Saturday game, a player that just passed 900 games in the sport. The game finishes, 2-1. Matty Taylor and Mark Sykes with the goals in the second half to claim all 3 points! OUFC climb to 5th in the EFL League One table! #Sunderland #OxfordUtd #LeagueOne It's matchday in Sky Bet League One as Oxford United travel to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland AFC, it's Sunderland vs Oxford! Both sides come into this game in good form, with Sunderland beating Cambridge United and Oxford Utd drew to league leaders Rotherham United. Oxford will also see a large amount of there squad return after having 13 players out with either the virus or injury today as well which will give Karl Robinson a real boost when it comes to team selection this anteroom. Oxford United's top goalscorer, Matty Taylor, comes back into the side after suffering from Covid and will need to find his scoring boots again quickly to help Oxford get anything from The Black Cats. Sunderland are without their star man Aiden McGeady and midfielder O'Nien, two significant loses to the Sunderland squad ahead of this fixture. This will be argaubly Oxford's most difficult away trip of the season so far and will have to be at their best to get anything from this EFL League One encounter. The game finishes 1-1, Matty Taylor with Oxford's goal! I will be LIVE on BBC Radio Oxford's, Wasn't at the Game Show from 5pm so you listen to this anytime on BBC Sounds NOW! Get involved in the LIVE CHAT and I will reading out all of your thoughts during today's match reaction! Please LEAVE A LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! Enjoy!
#OxfordUtd #BristolRovers #FACup In this episode of the podcast I will be reviewing today's Emirates FA Cup clash being Oxford United vs Bristol Rovers. I will also be joined by Charlie Haynes from One Rovers Vlogs to give another perspective of this incredible and classic FA Cup tie. Matty Taylor isn't much of a fan favourite at Bristol Rovers after his move to Bristol City but was nothing short of fantastic this afternoon, opening the scoring early in the game and then setting up the second after the break. The second goal was beautifully finished from ex-Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder Marcus McGaune. Interestingly Karl Robinson and Joey Barton fielded a very strong side creating a fascinating encounter at the Kassam Stadium at 1pm this afternoon. With the game finishing as a draw the game will go to a replay, with both sides having the obvious intention of progressing through to the second round of the biggest domestic cup competition in English football. Ex-Liverpool midfielder Cameron Brannagan came back into he side after illness and really drove OUFC forward from the middle of the park. Gavin Whyte, on loan from Cardiff City, got an opportunity to impress and looked lively at time down that left-hand side. Thank you again for @oneroversvlogs for appearing on this match review of Oxford Utd vs Bristol Rovers! If you enjoyed this episode of the podcast, please SUBSCRIBE and LEAVE A LIKE! Thank you for the amazing support and ENJOY!
#OxfordUtd #Burton #LeagueOne It's another matchday in Sky Bet League One as Burton Albion host Oxford United (Burton 1-3 Oxford). It's 7th against 8th this afternoon and will certainly prove to be a tight, edgy encounter against two sides that enjoy playing attractive football. Last time these two teams met was on the final day of last season, where OUFC won 4-0 and claimed the final EFL League One play-off spot. Burton started very strong this season beating the likes of Ipswich Town, Sunderland, Lincoln, Portsmouth and even current league leaders Plymouth Argyle, the team that won at the Kassam Stadium last Saturday. Both teams come into this game with a win as Burton beat Fleetwood on the road and Oxford beat Shrewsbury Town, 2-0. The U's will still be without their manager Karl Robinson on the touchline through illness so club captain John Mousinho and assistant manager Craig Short will be in charge once again at 3pm. A win today for either side could see them push into the top 6, depending on how results go elsewhere. Of course, as we've seen so many times this season, League One can be so unpredictable and this game really could go either way! Will Oxford United gain their first back-to-back away win of the season after their unbelievable result against Sheffield Wednesday 3 weeks ago? As always, YOU can get involved in the LIVE CHAT at full-time, giving your thoughts on the game and asking questions! All will be discussed and broken down in this LIVE episode of the podcast! Oxford win the game 3-1 and climb into the play-offs! If you enjoy this, please SUBSCRIBE and LEAVE A LIKE! Enjoy!

#SheffieldWednesday #OxfordUtd #LeaguOne What an incredible away victory that was as Oxford United visit Hillsborough and defeat Sheffield Wednesday, 2-1. Cameron Brannagan scored after 12 minutes giving the yellows the lead, before Wednesday's forward, Callum Paterson, scored a lovely header in the roof of the net to equal the game. And then in the 3rd minute of injury-time James Henry scores a beautiful winner, in front of the travelling supporters to claim maximum points on the road. Here on The Young Fan Podcast we've been crying out for a positive awayday match day experience and today we have one as Oxford also win their first game on the road. In todays episode, we break the game down tactically, give my thoughts on the game and discuss some incredible performers by individuals such as, Herbie Kane, Jack Stevens, Cameron Brannagan and Barry Bannan. Also apologies for the croaky and quieter voiceover - let's just say there was celebration! Give your thoughts in the comments below! I want to hit from both sets of fans! Please SUBSCRIBE and LEAVE A LIKE if you ENJOY! THANK YOU!
#LeagueOne #leagueonepredictions #skybetleagueone In today's episode of the podcast, I will be predicting all the fixtures in EFL League One from match week 11. There are some very significant fixtures this week including, Portsmouth hosting Sunderland and Bolton visiting Shrewsbury Town. Fleetwood vs Charlton Sheffield Wednesday vs Oxford Utd Portsmouth vs Sunderland Lincoln City vs Plymouth Argyle Gillingham vs Wigan Doncaster Rovers vs MK Dons AFC Wimbledon vs Burton Cheltenham vs Rotherham Bolton vs Shrewsbury Accrington vs Ipswich Wycombe Wanderers vs Morecambe Note: apologies to both fans of Rotherham and Cheltenham - I managed to completely forget to include the clip of me predicting your clash in this episode (I promise it will NEVER happen again). I predict that Rotherham will win the game 2-1. A close game against two sides that have looked fairly good so far this season. Cheltenham are proving to be difficult to play at home this season so Rotherham will have to be on top form to get anything form the game. I think they will beat them, however, 2-1!
