The Tri-City Storm’s ten-game point streak ended Friday night, December 3rd, at Ralston Arena in a 6-4 road loss to the Omaha Lancers. Tanner Adams, Lleyton Roed, Drew Montgomery, and Gavin Brindley scored in Tri-City’s defeat. Arsenii Sergeev started the game in goal for Tri-City but was replaced by Chase Clark after making five saves on eight shots in the 1st period. Clark made 13 saves on 15 shots during the remainder of the game and recorded the loss in goal for the Storm. Tri-City came within one game of tying the organization’s record for most consecutive wins. Lleyton Roed, Nate Benoit, Mitchell Miller, and Ilya Nikolaev each scored goals for the Storm in the road loss. Chase Clark recorded the overtime loss in net for Tri-City after making 29 saves on 34 shots. Louden Hogg picked up the win in goal for Fargo in a 30 save on 34 shot performance. Gavin Brindley, Christian Fitzgerald, and Mitchell Miller all netted goals in Tri-City’s victory. Arsenii Sergeev recorded the win in goal for the Storm. Tri-City improved to 14-2-0-0 in the victory and remains in sole possession of 1st place in the USHL’s Western Conference standings. The Storm has now won nine consecutive games and can tie the organization’s record for most consecutive wins with a victory over Fargo in their matchup on Saturday, November 27th. Christian Fitzgerald recorded his first career USHL goal and his first career multi-goal game in the victory. Tanner Adams, Cole O’Hara, and Ilya Nikolaev also netted goals for Tri-City in the win. The 3rd period included nearly 80 combined penalty minutes between the two teams. Arsenii Sergeev made 27 saves on 28 shots to record the win in goal for the Storm. Tri-City improved to 11-2-0-0 in the victory.

The Storm persevered in a penalty-laden battle and the team will host the Black Hawks again tomorrow night for Teacher Appreciation/UNK Night.
