My Calgary Flames In Four - Games 49-52 (S03E10)
My Calgary Flames In Four - Games 49-52 (S03E10)

Heading into the stretch drive for the Calgary Flames during the 2020-21 NHL Regular Season. Depending on the day and mood there's either still a chance or not for the Calgary Flames to get into the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the 2021 season. They had an opportunity to close the gap on the team that they we're homing in on in the Montreal Canadiens with a three game series at home. Looked like the Calgary Flames we're almost able to close the gap on the Montreal Canadiens by winning the first two games but dropped the third game making the playoff odds slimmer. However there's still a chance as the old line in Dumb & Dumber say. The Calgary Flames also finished off this segment against the Edmonton Oilers with a win. As per my planned uploading schedule the last two episodes will be four game recaps. The number of games are still out of sync however I explain in the video and where I take a look ahead to the next episode that those games that got postponed will be recapped and made up in the next episode. Also for the final time this season my mini-segment with Stockton Heat Quick Hits. The Calgary Flames farm team plays out their season which was a 30 game season in the American Hockey League. Home: 12-11-1 Away: 10-13-2 Calgary Flames vs North Division: Vancouver Canucks 4-2-0 Edmonton Oilers 4-5-0 Winnipeg Jets 3-4-1 Toronto Maple Leafs 3-5-1 Ottawa Senators 2-5-1 Montreal Canadiens 6-3-0 Stockton Heat Schedule: Game 26: Thursday, April 22nd - Stockton Heat 2 @ Manitoba Moose 5 Game 27: Saturday, April 24th - Stockton Heat 0 @ Manitoba Moose 3 Game 28: Monday, April 26th - Stockton Heat 3 @ Manitoba Moose 2 (SO) Game 29: Tuesday, April 27th - Stockton Heat 1 @ Manitoba Moose 3 Game 30: Thursday, April 29th - Stockton Heat 1 @ Manitoba Moose 2 (OT) Stockton Heat finish season 11-17-2 for 24 points, 5th in AHL Canadian Division. Won't be Calder Cup Playoffs for the AHL in 2021. As usual after recapping the games and looking at the stats and standings. I take a look ahead which will be the final games for the Calgary Flames for the 2020-21 season. It'll still be called a four game segment to keep up with my uploading plans. However the Calgary Flames still have seven more games to play as three of those games that'll be in the next episode will be made up after being postponed from the Vancouver Canucks COVID outbreak that happened. Will the Calgary Flames make the playoffs in 2021? Guess will see in the next episode if season three will end on the final episode or not. Intro: Legend application found on iOS and Google Play. My Calgary Flames In Six - Games 43-48 (S03E09)
My Calgary Flames In Six - Games 43-48 (S03E09)

I know the games are out of sync but I explain and everything has been out of sync when it comes to the Calgary Flames and the National Hockey League for the 2020-21 season during COVID-19. Anyway the Calgary Flames still are playing out the stretch still with a slim chance at the Stanley Cup Playoffs but not mathematically eliminated yet. Calgary Flames did have a nice stretch of games with the Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Maple Leafs and against the Montreal Canadiens including Elias Lindholm leading the way with a scoring streak. Still the Calgary Flames had a tough loss on their second game against the Montreal Canadiens and still having a tough time with the Ottawa Senators. Still have a chance for playoffs but need to sweep against the Montreal Canadiens down the stretch and have some help in the standings. Oh yeah sneaked in between is the NHL Trade Deadline. Made a separate video on what the Calgary Flames did at the NHL Trade Deadline including trading away goaltender David Rittich and centre Sam Bennett. The Calgary Flames didn't have long to see David Rittich again. Not only the Calgary Flames struggled against the Ottawa Senators this season. Must be within the organization as the Stockton Heat have struggled against the Belleville Senators as well with my Stockton Heat Quick Hits. The American Hockey League is playing 30 games this season so the next episode will be my last mini segment. Timestamps: 00:00 Introduction 02:07 Game 43 05:50 Game 44 09:39 Game 45 11:59 Game 46 14:12 Game 47 17:04 Game 48 (Or lack thereof) 17:45 Stats & Standings 31:49 Stockton Heat Quick Hits 34:16 Looking Ahead Regular Season: Game 43: Saturday, April 10th - Edmonton Oilers 0 @ Calgary Flames 5 (Rescheduled From Friday, May 7th) Game 44: Tuesday, April 13th - Calgary Flames 3 @ Toronto Maple Leafs 2 (OT) Game 45: Wednesday, April 14th - Calgary Flames 4 @ Montreal Canadiens 1 Game 46: Friday, April 16th - Calgary Flames 1 @ Montreal Canadiens 2 Game 47: Monday, April 19th - Ottawa Senators 4 @ Calgary Flames 2 Game 48: Tuesday April 20th - Ottawa Senators @ Calgary Flames (Rescheduled To Sunday, May 9th) Calgary Flames vs North Division: Vancouver Canucks 4-2-0 Edmonton Oilers 3-5-0 Winnipeg Jets 3-4-1 Toronto Maple Leafs 3-5-1 Ottawa Senators 2-5-1 Montreal Canadiens 4-2-0 Stockton Heat Schedule: Game 23: Wednesday, April 14th - Belleville Senators 4 @ Stockton Heat 2 Game 24: Thursday, April 15th - Belleville Senators 4 @ Stockton Heat 2 Game 25: Saturday, April 17th - Belleville Senators 4 @ Stockton Heat 1 As usual after looking back at how the previous games went for the Calgary Flames. I take a look ahead which in this case will be the next four games for the next episode and map out the last games including the make-up games that's been rescheduled for my final episode in season three assuming no playoffs. Eventually the Calgary Flames will get 56 games in as planned just not as originally scheduled. Still want to maintain my uploading plans and schedule so bear with my game numbers. My Calgary Hitmen In Six for my final episode for season three in that playlist is more out of sync and will be breaking my mold and template there. My Calgary Hitmen In Six - Games 13-18 (S03E04)

Time for another episode recapping how the Calgary Hitmen did during the 2020-21 WHL Regular Season or should say the games that they we're able to play. Still intend to keep on my planned upload schedule the Calgary Hitmen actually only got to play two games in this recap segment. Recall I made a video talking about the Calgary Hitmen having their activities suspended due to one player testing positive for COVID-19 hence postponing and rescheduling games in the Central Division. Unknown if those games that are postponed and will get rescheduled as of this upload. I take a look ahead at the next games on the schedule or at least which ones are known in this case. It will be the last episode for season three for the Calgary Hitmen in terms of recapping games and unknown when to expect the video if the rescheduled games do happen. May do a season end episode as there's no playoffs happening and even a Memorial Cup which I'll talk about that in a separate video. Intro: Legend application found on iOS and Google Play. Five Calgary Flames Games Rescheduled To Wrap Up 2020-21 Season
Five Calgary Flames Games Rescheduled To Wrap Up 2020-21 Season

Update your calendars as I talk about the Calgary Flames games being rescheduled mostly due to the Vancouver Canucks being hit with COVID-19. Ultimately we know when the Calgary Flames will play the Vancouver Canucks after having three games originally scheduled postponed with the COVID-19 outbreak. The NHL will push the end of the regular season back a week as the Vancouver Canucks we're shut down for two weeks affecting three games against the Calgary Flames in the process. Here's how the rescheduled games as follows: Calgary at Vancouver, scheduled for March 31, is now scheduled for Wednesday, April 21 at 8:00 PM MT Vancouver at Calgary, scheduled for April 10, is now scheduled for Monday, May 3 at 7:00 PM MT Ottawa at Calgary, scheduled for April 20, is now scheduled for Sunday, May 9 at 6:00 PM MT Calgary at Vancouver, scheduled for May 8, is now scheduled for Saturday, May 15 at TBD Vancouver at Calgary, scheduled for April 8, is now scheduled for Sunday, May 16 at TBD Ultimately the NHL is committed to have all teams play 56 games for the 2020-21 NHL Regular Season and did give themselves a two week buffer from original scheduled date to possible actual date. Still want to have the full playoffs to be concluded by the middle of July just before the scheduled Summer Olympics. Don't anticipate this will affect playoff chances as both the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks are unlikely to make the playoffs. These games being rescheduled could possibly delay the start of the playoffs for the North Division bracket though. https://www.nhl.com/flames/news/nhl-announces-schedule-update/c-323492576 (Originally accessed Monday, April 12th, 2021) Please like and subscribe if you enjoy my content to follow along with this Calgary sports fans journey. My Calgary Hitmen In Six - Games 7-12 (S03E03)
My Calgary Hitmen In Six - Games 7-12 (S03E03)

Time to do the next recap with My Calgary Hitmen In Six recapping games 7-12 during the 2020-21 WHL Regular Season. Before I recap the games I go over when my plan to make the following episodes for the rest of the season as the schedule has been released for the rest of the season. Calgary Hitmen had a stretch of six games where they've played the top teams in the Central Division with the Edmonton Oil Kings and Medicine Hat Tigers. Just like the previous episode I feel that the Calgary Hitmen have struggled on the penalty kill as they've allowed a power play goal in five out of six games. Right the now Calgary Hitmen are in the middle of the pack with the other WHL Alberta based teams. I take a look ahead to the next six games on the schedule especially now that the rest of the WHL schedule has been released for the Calgary Hitmen. Keep in mind that the 2020-21 WHL Regular Season will only be 24 games. Please like and subscribe if you enjoy my content to follow along with this Calgary sports fans journey. Damn COVID Postpones Calgary Flames @ Vancouver Canucks - March 31st, 2021 Game
Damn COVID Postpones Calgary Flames @ Vancouver Canucks - March 31st, 2021 Game

Damn COVID getting in the way with everything. In this video I talk about and share what the National Hockey League (NHL) has announced concerning the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks where the game originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 31st, 2021 was postponed. The game was originally announced to be postponed shortly before when the game was scheduled to start as the Vancouver Canucks has a couple of players and a member of the coaching staff entering COVID protocols. The fallout of it is the Vancouver Canucks are off until Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 and won't be playing again until Thursday, April 8th, 2021. They will be missing four games that's originally scheduled where the NHL hasn't announced when it'll be rescheduled yet including the Calgary Flames game. Adam Gaudette of the Vancouver Canucks did receive a positive COVID test ahead of the scheduled game. Travis Hamonic and a member of the Vancouver Canucks coaching staff we're notified that they needed to enter NHL COVID protocol before the scheduled game which prompted the postponement of the game. This now marks the second time a team in the North Division being affected by COVID protocols. The Montreal Canadiens we're shut down from March 22nd-28th and had games rescheduled. I also outline my plans on what I'll be doing with My Calgary Flames In Six as this game was postponed. Hopefully that NHL will be able to get all 56 games in for all 31 teams despite some speed bumps and COVID protocols and even the odd weather delays with a snowstorm in Texas back in February. Yes, a snow storm in Texas happened. https://www.nhl.com/news/calgary-vancouver-nhl-game-postponed-due-to-covid-19-protocol/c-323128512 (Originally accessed Thursday, April 1st, 2021) Please like and subscribe if you enjoy my content to follow along with this Calgary sports fans journey. My Calgary Hitmen In Six - Games 1-6 (S03E02)
My Calgary Hitmen In Six - Games 1-6 (S03E02)

After waiting over 362 days since the last Calgary Hitmen game. Time to return with My Calgary Hitmen In Six for season three on recapping games for the 2020-21 WHL regular season. This season with the current COVID restrictions still in place, the Calgary Hitmen will only be playing the Alberta based teams on weekend sets. So far the Calgary Hitmen only played the Red Deer Rebels, Medicine Hat Tigers and started their weekend set with the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the end of this episode. Another thing to note that the Calgary Hitmen will be playing their home games not at the Scotiabank Saddledome but the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex at Tsuut'ina Nation as the Calgary Flames and Stockton Heat playing in the Saddledome to accommodate COVID requirements. Still too early to gauge the competition for this season but it looks like that the Calgary Hitmen may have a hard time with the other Alberta based teams. This season will only be a 24 game season and don't think there's even going to be a playoff. I take a look ahead on the schedule to the next six games that'll be in the next episode. However the WHL are only releasing the schedule in a couple of week segments so we only know what the next five games will be. The next episode will likely come Easter weekend to recap games 7-12. My Calgary Flames In Six - Games 25-30 (S03E06)
My Calgary Flames In Six - Games 25-30 (S03E06)

Time to start the Darryl Sutter era again for the Calgary Flames as I recap how games 25-30 went during the 2020-21 NHL regular season. After the coaching change I would say that it's made an immediate positive impact on getting back on track but the Calgary Flames did drop their last game in this recap in a convincing fashion. The big reason why I feel that the Calgary Flames are still in the thick of the playoff race in the North Division is winning those back-to-back games against the Montreal Canadiens. I feel that the Calgary Flames if they we're to make the playoffs will need to surpass the Montreal Canadiens. In addition to recapping the Calgary Flames I take a look at how the Stockton Heat are doing in the American Hockey League and they're leading the Canadian Division there so far. Timestamps: 00:00 Introduction 02:14 Game 25 07:52 Game 26 14:18 Game 27 19:55 Game 28 23:10 Game 29 27:12 Game 30 31:56 Standings & Stats 42:53 Stockton Heat Quick Hits 46:44 Looking Ahead Regular Season: Game 25: Saturday, March 6th - Calgary Flames 2 @ Edmonton Oilers 3 Game 26: Sunday, March 7th - Ottawa Senators 4 @ Calgary Flames 3 (SO) Game 27: Thursday, March 11th - Montreal Canadiens 1 @ Calgary Flames 2 Game 28: Saturday, March 13th - Montreal Canadiens 1 @ Calgary Flames 3 Game 29: Monday, March 15th - Edmonton Oilers 3 @ Calgary Flames 4 Game 30: Wednesday, March 17th - Edmonton Oilers 7 @ Calgary Flames 3 Calgary Flames vs North Division: Vancouver Canucks 4-2-0 Edmonton Oilers 2-4-0 Winnipeg Jets 2-2-1 Toronto Maple Leafs 1-2-1 Ottawa Senators 2-2-1 Montreal Canadiens 3-1-0 Stockton Heat Schedule: Game 6: Friday, March 5th - Stockton Heat 5 @ Toronto Marlies 1 Game 7: Saturday, March 6th - Stockton Heat 4 @ Toronto Marlies 3 Game 8: Monday, March 8th - Stockton Heat 6 @ Manitoba Moose 5 (OT) Game 9: Wednesday, March 10th - Stockton Heat 3 @ Manitoba Moose 2 Game 10: Thursday, March 11th - Stockton Heat 2 @ Manitoba Moose 1 Game 11: Saturday, March 13th - Stockton Heat 2 @ Manitoba Moose 4 As usual after recapping the games and going over the stats and standings. I take a look ahead to the next six games on the schedule for the Calgary Flames. The next six game will require a road trip back to Ontario and playing four out of six against the top two teams in the North Division with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Winnipeg Jets.
