The Carolina Panthers finished their 2020 season on a disappointing note, by losing to the New Orleans Saints. They finished the season with a 5-11 record in head coach Matt Rhule first year. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater did not have a great season overall after being hand chosen by Rhule and offensive coordinator Joe Brady. There were breakout years by Robby Anderson, DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel and Mike Davis that were bright spots, but they had to step up because of the injury to Christian McCaffrey. On Defense, Brian Burns and Jeremy Chinn were the bright spots, but Derrick Brown and Efe Obada also had breakout years. They struggled early on, but the defense got better as the year progressed. In this video, we will review the Panthers 2020 Season.
The Carolina Panthers lost to the New Orleans Saints in NFL Week 17 to finish their season 5-11. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater struggled with 3 INTs and was benched in favor of PJ Walker who threw 2 himself. Coach Matt Rhule seemed to be frustrated with the all around bad performance by the team after the defense played bad after showing improvement. The bright side was Curtis Samuel went over 1,000 total yards on the season joining his 3 other teammates, but the lack of points scored is disappointing. With Brian Burns out, the defense was helpless against Drew Brees and the Saints. In this video we will discuss the Saints vs Panthers game.
Dwayne Haskins was cut by the football team and Booger McFarland had some choice words. Will the Panthers sign Haskins? NFL Playoffs right around the corner, who will win it all? Black Monday is coming up. What coaches are on the hot seat?
the Denver Broncos traveled to Charlotte to face the Carolina Panthers and came out victorious. Christian McCaffrey did not play after suffering a quad injury. This game was a close one with Drew Lock throwin for 4 TD passes while on the other side Teddy Bridgewater struggled. The Panthers were also missing DJ Moore which turned out to be a huge factor as the offense never could get anything going. In this video we will reaction to the Broncos vs Panthers game.
Panthers Film Study: Brian Burns DESTROYS the Justin Herbert and the Chargers The Carolina Panthers had struggled to generate pressure on the quarterback to start the season, but things changed when their former 1st round pick out of Florida State Brian Burns had a monster game vs the San Diego Chargers. He only sacked Justin Herbert once, but forced 2 fumbles and used speed to pressure the pocket all day. Coach Matt Rhule and Phil Snow must be pleased as they were looking for someone to step up and make an impact from the defensive line and they found their guy. In his second year, Brian Burns has shown why he has been compared to Von Miller. In this video we will look at Film Analysis of the beast in the making.
Carolina Panthers Film Room: Scott Turners Play calling Has Shown SOME Promise When Ron Rivera was fired, the offensive coordinator Norv Turner was moved to assistant coach. This has allowed his son Scott turner to get his first experience at calling plays. He has showed some promise by getting the ball to Christian McCaffrey, DJ Moore, and Curtis Samuel in very creative ways that his father did not. Owner David Tepper is looking for a younger coach so Turner may have a chance to be retained going forward. In this video, we will breakdown the film from the Panthers vs Seahawks game last week.
Cam Newton, Christian McCaffrey Roll Over NFL #1 Defense | Ravens vs Panthers Reaction The Carolina Panthers beat the Baltimore Ravens as Christian McCaffrey catches an impossible TD and added another rushing Touchdown. Everything seemed to go Cam Newton and the Panthers way. The defense also had their best game as Luke Kuechly, Julius Peppers and Thomas Davis helped shut down Joe Flacco and the Ravens offense. Rookie Donte Jackson had one of his best games as the defense forced 3 Turnovers. Coach Ron Rivera had to be pleased with how his offense looked vs Terrell Suggs and the Ravens top defense. Christian McCaffrey Goes OFF | Bengals vs Panthers Reaction The Cincinnati Bengals took their 2-0 record on the road to face the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte. Cam Newton and the offense started out slow but after a few big Runs by Christian McCaffrey it was all down hill. Even though the offensive line has a ton of injuries, they dominated up front. The defense struggled as Luke Keuchly left the game momentarily with cramps but they were able to get 4 interceptions with 2 by rookie Donte Jackson. Overall coach Ron Rivera has to be pleased with the team as they head into their bye week. Tune in to see my analysis of the game.
