So with the Badgers just 80 miles from our new home in Philadephia last Saturday, we knew we wanted to go to the game, but tickets had been about $65 when they first went on sale. The night before the game, just in case, I checked ticket prices. They were...um...a LOT less. So the kid had a WONDERFUL surprise the next morning. Our baseball travels for Anthony's 13th stadium to watch a Milwaukee Brewers game became an unexpected journey of joy. Only a few thousand Milwaukee Brewers fans have ever seen their team throw a no-hitter in person. The first was in 1987 in Baltimore. The second was September 11, 2021 in Cleveland as Corbin Burnes and Josh Hader combined to no-hit the Indians, soon to be re-named the Cleveland Guardians. Anthony, Carrie (AnonyMommy) and Jay (Daddy) were there to watch it! Plus Anthony was feet away from Hader as he warmed up right before maybe the biggest inning of his pitching career. Plus, Anthony got a ball at the end of the night! 13's a lucky number for us, as it provided us the most special game night of all of our Milwaukee Brewers road game travels. 17 more stadiums to go!
