Manchester United should use a back three for the game against Wolves and play a midfield without Fellaini. Pogba should be partnered with Brazilians Fred and Andreas Pereira to add a dynamic element to the midfield to allow pressing in Wolves’ half. Lukaku and Sanchez will be the key to unlocking Nuno Espírito’s 3-4-3. The Belgian and Chilean are starting to really gain an understanding of each others game. But Marcus Rashford came off with a suspected knee injury with is bad news for Jose Mourinho’s men. Manchester United will return to Manchester with three points after a solid away performance in Benfica. Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game with a deep free kick that young goalkeeper Mile Svilar carried over his own line. United couldn’t get it going with the ball and were lucky to leave with the three points. The error cost Benfica the game and potentially their place in the Champions League this season. Benfica sit rock bottom of Group A with three games to play in the group. The only negative news of the night was Martial limping off the pitch with what appeared to be a knee injury which could be very bad news for Mourinho who is already without Pogba, Fellaini, Jones and Bailly. Mourinho and Manchester United sit top of their Champions League group and look set for a place in the knockout stages. How important has Rashford been this season? After this draw, Mourinho should stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation for the rest of the season. Choupo-Moting gave Stoke a surprise 1-0 lead, the first goal Manchester United had conceded this season. A few minutes later Matic flicked on a corner at the near post and Pogba headed the ball onto Rashford's back diverting it into the back of the net to equalise for Manchester United. A swift counter ending up with Mkhitaryan playing a though ball for Lukaku to finish off gave the Red Devils a 2-1 lead. But the lead only lasted six minutes as Choupo-Moting once again found the back of the net. Lukaku missed a late chance with the game finishing 2-2.
