#PREMIERLEAGUE #EVEARS #ARTETA We recap the Everton vs Arsenal game that ended 2-1 in favour of Ancelotti's side, which featured fantastic performances from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ben Godfrey on the day, as well as a beautifully taken Yery Mina goal from a set-piece. Arteta's Gunners really struggled despite the move back into the three back-formation. Maitland-Niles drove in and earned a penalty but it was not enough, in a game where Pepe and Saka had good performances too. Questionable substitutions came out today with Willian noticeably playing the full 90, whereas Everton shut up shop and went all the way to 2nd in the league table. Liverpool defeat Tottenham Hotspurs after Roberto Firmino managed to score a header from a corner in the 90th minute. In the first half, Liverpool played a fast-paced attacking style where they had several chances and managed to take the lead with a Mohamed Salah goal. Tottenham played with Jose Mourinho’s typical counter-attacking style and it was shown to be effective after Son managed to equalise with a great finish. In the second half both Bergwijn and Kane had fantastic chances to make the comeback, however this was not to be. Ultimately, the Anfield side won the game and now top the Premier League table. We discuss the tactics in the early start between Brighton vs. Liverpool that saw a 1-1 draw complete with VAR and offside controversies, but with equal chances for both teams that found it quite easy to break both defences with long balls. We discuss Klopp's adjustments including Neco Williams' rather unfortunate performance, followed by the Milner injury and how Fabinho struggled vs. the threat that was Welbeck who has been in form as of late, although his partner Phillips did well. We also discuss the class performance from players like Ben White, March, and Bissouma vs. a rather weak Liverpool defence that had to be bailed out a few times by Alisson. We tactically analyse the historic performance by Spain and detail the gigantic 6-0 victory in an embarrassing moment in Germany’s International footballing history. This result fully consolidates the dire situation the German National team is going through, and Joachim Löw will need some immediate fixes if he wants to have any chance at the Euros in 2021. Contrarily, Luis Enrique will be delighted with this victory, where the youngsters had fantastic performances. Ferran Torres was the star player of the game where he managed a hat-trick, where Oyarzabal, Rodri, and Morata scored the other three goals. Spain was dynamic with a tremendous presence from Koke opening the play in key moments, whereas Germany played very deep, with defensive errors apparent throughout the entire game. Spain has now qualified for the final four of the UEFA Nation’s League where they will be looking to claim their first trophy in eight years. SUBSCRIBE and follow us on social media! We analyse Bayern Munich’s 2-1 victory over Sevilla which earned them their second UEFA Supercup. The game began with an early penalty for Lopetegui’s men, which Ocampos converted, however, Goretzka equalised later in the 1st half for the Bavarians. While the Germans primarily controlled the game, Sevilla had very good chances to regain the lead, particularly a one on one miss by En Nesyri saved by Neuer. Ultimately, Javi Martinez scored the winner in the 103rd minute in what was likely his last game for Bayern. We discuss the key tactics and strategies of this game, and whether Bayern needs further depth in the wings if Coman leaves. SUBSCRIBE and follow us on social media! We analyse Pep Guardiola and Manchester City's 1-3 away win and start to the 19/20 season by looking at their first game vs a team that snatched 6 points away from them last season in Nuno's Wolverhampton Wanderers. Although City dominated the first half with the fantastic interplay between Kevin De Bruyne, Foden, and Sterling, with Rodri and Fernandinho securing the unstable back 4 from the Citizens, Traore and Podence really started making it hard for City, creating lots of interplays down the right hand side vs left-back Mendy who struggled. Ultimately, the Wolves weren't able to make things count as Jimenez only scored a consolation goal. We discuss the initial prospects for both teams. SUBSCRIBE and follow us on social media!
