Bayern Munich vs Sevilla Tactical Analysis 2-1 | Lopetegui takes Flick to extra time!
We analyse Bayern Munich’s 2-1 victory over Sevilla which earned them their second UEFA Supercup. The game began with an early penalty for Lopetegui’s men, which Ocampos converted, however, Goretzka equalised later in the 1st half for the Bavarians. While the Germans primarily controlled the game, Sevilla had very good chances to regain the lead, particularly a one on one miss by En Nesyri saved by Neuer. Ultimately, Javi Martinez scored the winner in the 103rd minute in what was likely his last game for Bayern. In this video we tactically analyse the matchup between Liverpool and Chelsea. Thomas Tuchel was able to get the best of his German counterpart, Jurgen Klopp, and helped Chelsea gain their 8th clean sheet in 10 games. Mason Mount scored the only goal of the game by getting at the end of N'Golo Kante's long pass and finishes the chance excellently against Fabinho and Alisson Becker. Timo Werner was able to break the deadlock thanks to a pass from Jorginho but VAR ruled out the goal. Sadio Mane had an excellent chance to give Liverpool the lead in the first half but was not able to finish Mohamed Salah's cross.
