We analyse Bayern Munich’s 2-1 victory over Sevilla which earned them their second UEFA Supercup. The game began with an early penalty for Lopetegui’s men, which Ocampos converted, however, Goretzka equalised later in the 1st half for the Bavarians. While the Germans primarily controlled the game, Sevilla had very good chances to regain the lead, particularly a one on one miss by En Nesyri saved by Neuer. Ultimately, Javi Martinez scored the winner in the 103rd minute in what was likely his last game for Bayern.
