Allen scores 28, No. 5 Duke routs Louisville 82-56. DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Grayson Allen scored 28 points and No. 5 Duke routed Louisville 82-56 on Wednesday night. Freshman big man Wendell Carter Jr. finished with 18 points and a season-high five assists, and Gary Trent Jr. had 11 points to help the Blue Devils (23-5, 11-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) win their fourth straight game — all coming with star freshman Marvin Bagley III out with a sprained knee. Ray Spalding scored 17 points, and V.J. King and Deng Adel had 10 apiece for Louisville (18-10, 8-7), playing for the first time since an NCAA panel upheld sanctions against the program in the wake of its embarrassing sex scandal — which cost the school about $600,000 in tournament revenue, 123 victories and its most recent national championship. The Cardinals were taken out of this one early by a Duke team that shot 48 percent, hit nine 3-pointers — with Allen responsible for six of those — and pushed its lead into the 20s with a 26-6 run midway through the first half fueled by a pair of Allen 3s.

Wake Forest keeps Pittsburgh winless in ACC 63-57. PITTSBURGH (AP) — Bryant Crawford scored 10 of his 14 points in the second half and Wake Forest battled to a 63-57 victory over Pittsburgh on Wednesday night. Wake Forest guards Brandon Childress and Keyshawn Woods each made a pair of late free throws and Jared Wilson-Frame had a dunk rattle off the rim for Pitt with under 10 seconds to play. Wake Forest (11-17, 4-12 Atlantic Coast Conference) nearly doubled up Pitt in the paint with a 30-16 scoring advantage. Doral Moore led the way with nine rebounds and 13 points. Crawford shot 5 of 10 from the field and also added six rebounds and four assists. Pitt (8-21, 0-16) has relied on outside shooting for much of the season and that caused problems in the second half, going 8 of 28 (29 percent) from the floor. Jared Wilson-Frame and Marcus Carr each scored 11 points for the Panthers.

LeBron James Playing with Kyrie Irving again a great moment

LeBron James Playing with Kyrie Irving again a great moment. LOS ANGELES — LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were all on the court together again. As teammates. And it was nothing but sunshine and rainbows. This really is the City of Angels.  The quartet of ex-teammates had a handful of viral moments throughout Sunday's All-Star festivities at Staples Center. Video emerged of James and Irving laughing and joking together on the sidelines. Durant and Westbrook warmed up together. Any tension that may have still existed was nowhere to be found. "It was phenomenal," James said when asked what it was like playing with Irving again. "Anytime you're able to get back and play with one of your old teammates, and as great as he is, we all know that. The flashiness, the ball handling, the ability to shoot, it was just great to get back on the floor with him. It was a great moment, for sure."

Nice held to 1 1 home draw by Nantes in French league

Nice held to 1-1 home draw by Nantes in French league. PARIS (AP) — Mario Balotelli was kept largely quiet as his inconsistent Nice side drew 1-1 at home to fifth-place Nantes in the French league on Sunday. Balotelli is Nice's top scorer with 13 league goals, but the Italian striker was not at his sharpest against a team shrewdly coached by countryman Claudio Ranieri. A rare goal from veteran Brazilian center half Dante gave Nice an early lead. Emiliano Sala replied for Nantes in the 27th minute, but the tall striker then headed wide from a corner in the fourth minute of injury time. Nantes remains one point ahead of sixth-place Montpellier, while Nice — an impressive third last season — is in ninth spot. Nice has done well in spells, but has lost 11 games out of 26 and relies too heavily on Balotelli in attack.

Feagin hit a 3-pointer and then made a layup to give Santa Clara (11-17, 8-8 West Coast Conference) a 66-63 lead. After Pacific's Miles Reynolds answered with a layup, Feagin and Reynolds traded two free throws each to make it 68-67 with 1:43 to play. Caruso made 4-of-4 foul shots in the final 17 seconds to seal it. Roberto Gallinat led Pacific (14-15, 9-7) with 24 points. Reynolds added 16 points and Jahil Tripp scored 14 with seven rebounds.

West Virginias Bob Huggins unhappy with officiating against Kansas. West Virginia coach Bob Huggins blasted the officiating in his team's 77-69 loss to Kansas on Saturday, taking aim at the staggering discrepancy in free-throw attempts. "I've never been in a game where the free-throw (attempts) difference was 35-2," Huggins said bluntly. Huggins was ejected in the closing seconds after he angrily cursed at officials. His outrage came after a game-sealing bucket by KU. Huggins was asked after the game if the atmosphere at Kansas' Allen Fieldhouse had anything to do with the calls.

Southern Illinois escapes in OT, beats Indiana State, 76-72. TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Sean Lloyd Jr. got to the basket for a layup with 14.6 seconds left in regulation to force overtime, then hit a clutch 3-pointer in the extra session to help Southern Illinois pull out a 76-72 win over Indiana State in a key Missouri Valley Conference battle Saturday afternoon. The victory sets up a showdown with conference leading Loyola-Chicago Wednesday in Carbondale, but the Ramblers could clinch their first-ever MVC title with a win Sunday at Evansville. Indiana State can improve its seeding into the conference tournament in its final two games of the regular season: at home against Evansville and at Bradley. The Salukis built a 10-point lead in the first half, leading 42-32 at intermission, but Indiana State charged to start the second half and the Sycamores led by five, 64-59 with 2:36 left in regulation after Brenton Scott hit the first of two free throws. Lloyd came up with a steal with 1:45 left and Tyler Smithpeters cashed in with two free throws to get the Salukis within three. After Jordan Barnes hit the second of two free throws for Indiana State, Smithpeters found Jonathan Wiley for an open look and the jumper cut the lead to two, 65-63 with just under a minute to play in regulation and Lloyd's layup tied it.
