Team USA found its composure by defeating Argentina 108-80 on Tuesday night. Following back-to-back defeats in which the Americans struggled with attacking execution and defensive stamina, they demonstrated improved performance on both fronts 12 days before their Olympic opening in Tokyo. "I thought we did a good job of sustaining our [stamina]," Team USA coach Gregg Popovich remarked. "Against Australia, we competed well, rebounded, played defence, ran the floor, and maintained a high level of intensity for a half until fading away. Tonight, we largely maintained that throughout the game. Hopefully, this is an indication that we are improving."
