One thing is certain in the David Alaba saga: he won’t be joining Paris Saint-Germain or Chelsea. That’s according to Sky Germany’s Max Bielefeld, who took to social media to announce the news, claiming the Austria international ‘has decided to decline the huge offer’ from the Ligue 1 champions. On top of that, the 28-year-old will not be moving to Stamford Bridge, as the journalist added ‘he also said no to Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea, who tried to convince him recently’. That will be a blow to the new German manager at the London club, who had clearly targeted Alaba to try and strengthen his defence for next season, but it all comes down to the player’s desire to play in Spain. - Sport Witness. Erling Haaland has played down talk of leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer, amid links to Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid. Haaland has been on Chelsea's radar for several months and reports in the national media in recent weeks have claimed that they will do everything they can to sign him this summer. Any deal to lure the striker away from Dortmund is likely to cost more than £100million as his release clause of €75m (£64m) does not kick in until next summer. But Haaland has broken his silence regarding his future, insisting he is happy in Germany - Football London. Manchester City's record goalscorer is a free agent in the summer with no shortage of options available to him if he chooses to leave the Etihad, including a switch to Stamford Bridge Chelsea are not exactly short of dough and they have already got the makings of a really good frontline. Bringing in Aguero as a fox-in-the-box No.9 is exactly what they need. Arguably, Olivier Giroud, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner can play anywhere in a front three and, with Aguero straight through the middle, they’d have one hell of a strike force. Tammy Abraham could learn how to play that central role from one of the all-time great Premier League strikers, as could Werner. CHELSEA 3-1 LUTON TOWN | A POSITIVE VIDEO FOR THE CHELSEA FANS.
Chelsea 3-1 Luton Town today at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup and compared to some other Chelsea content creators out there, I decided to upload a positive video for the Chelsea fans. Tammy Abraham's hat-trick helped Chelsea beat Luton Town 3-1 in the FA Cup fourth round to help ease the pressure on under-fire manager Frank Lampard. Abraham had appeared to put the hosts in total control of the tie with two early goals, only for Jordan Clark's strike on the half-hour mark, with the aid of another Kepa Arrizabalaga error, to give Luton hope of a shock at Stamford Bridge. However, Abraham was on hand to ease any home nerves with a close-range finish 16 minutes from time and despite Timo Werner missing a late penalty, Chelsea still set up a fifth-round clash at Barnsley - SkySports.
