That’s according to Sky Germany’s Max Bielefeld, who took to social media to announce the news, claiming the Austria international ‘has decided to decline the huge offer’ from the Ligue 1 champions. On top of that, the 28-year-old will not be moving to Stamford Bridge, as the journalist added ‘he also said no to Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea, who tried to convince him recently’. That will be a blow to the new German manager at the London club, who had clearly targeted Alaba to try and strengthen his defence for next season, but it all comes down to the player’s desire to play in Spain. - Sport Witness. Erling Haaland has played down talk of leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer, amid links to Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid. Haaland has been on Chelsea's radar for several months and reports in the national media in recent weeks have claimed that they will do everything they can to sign him this summer. Any deal to lure the striker away from Dortmund is likely to cost more than £100million as his release clause of €75m (£64m) does not kick in until next summer.
