Chicago White Sox Team Chaplain Mickey Weston on UPI and discipiling MLB players

Mickey Weston is the Executive Director of Unlimited Potential Incorporated, a ministry that serves the professional baseball community. He was originally selected in the 12th round of the 1982 MLB Amateur Draft by the New York Mets and played professionally for fifteen seasons in MILB and parts of five seasons in MLB with the Orioles, Blue Jays, Phillies and Mets.  Upon retirement in 1996 from baseball, Mickey joined UPI to serve in ministry. AJ Ellis - Former MLB Catcher (FULL INTERVIEW)

A.J. Ellis is a former MLB catcher who played for the Dodgers, Phillies, Marlins and Padres. He was selected in the 18th round of the 2003 MLB Amateur Draft by Los Angeles, after playing his college baseball at Austin Peay (Clarksville, Tennessee), where he became the school’s all-time leader in hits. Ellis made his MLB debut on Sept. 15, 2008, with the Dodgers and played nine seasons in L.A. before being traded to the Phillies. He played two more seasons with the Marlins (2017) and Padres (2018) before retiring and joining San Diego’s front office as a special assistant to the general manager Today on the podcast, Ellis shares amazing stories from his time as an MLB catcher working with players like Clayton Kershaw and Greg Maddux, and playing for managers Joe Torre and Don Mattingly. Ellis also discusses what it was like to be on the cover of Sports Spectrum Magazine’s Summer 2015 issue. Jeremy Hefner, New York Mets Pitching Coach (FULL INTERVIEW)

Jeremy Hefner is in his second season as the pitching coach for the New York Mets. He was originally selected in the fifth round of the 2007 MLB Amateur Draft by the San Diego Padres. After five seasons in the minor leagues, he was claimed off waivers by the Pirates, and then again claimed off waivers by the Mets. He made his MLB debut in April 2012. After two seasons of pitching with the Mets, Hefner underwent two Tommy John surgeries and after pitching the 2016 season with the St. Louis Cardinals organization, he announced his retirement from pro baseball in January 2017. David Tyree - New York Giants Super Bowl Champion

David Tyree is a Super Bowl champion and former wide receiver with the New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens. He was selected in the 6th round of the 2003 NFL Draft (211 overall) by the Giants. He would spend six seasons with the Giants from 2003-2008 and finish his NFL career in 2009 with the Ravens. Tyree is known for making one of the greatest catches in NFL history with his famous 32 yard "helmet catch" against Patriots safety Rodney Harrison that kept the final drive alive and helped the Giants upset New England 17-14 to win Super Bowl XLII in February 2008. Today on the podcast, we talk to David Tyree about being a Super Bowl champion, remembering the helmet catch 13 years later, how God played a big role in that 2007 Super Bowl season and his amazing story of encountering Christ in a hotel room on his 30th birthday.
