PxP Stony Brook MBB vs Hartford AE SF 31012
These are the audio clips from the Hartford-Stony Brook America East Semifinals men's basketball game at IFCU Arena on March 10, 2020. Hartford pulled off the triple sweep on the Seawolves for the first ever earning a 64-58 win. For the first time, the Hartford Hawks are going to the America East Championship. Hunter Marks was on target all night from deep going 5-6 from deep leading the Hawks with 17 points. Traci Carter added 12 and Moses Flowers scored 11 for Hartford. Only four Seawolves found the scoring column on Tuesday night: Olaniyi 19, Garcia 16, Gueye 12 and Foreman had 11. Unfortunately, there will be no America East Championship game on Saturday March 14 due to coronavirus pandemic. Jim Ferchland, Zach Wilson and Ken Fermin called the game on 90.1 FM WUSB.

The Island was rocking and so were the Seawolves with 5 players in double-figures en route to a thrilling 76-73 win over the Great Danes. Makale Foreman carried Stony Brook with a team-high 23 points, Mo Gueye had 14 off the bench, Miles Latimer added 13, Andrew Garcia had 12 and Elijah Olaniyi contributed with 11 for SBU. UAlbany's Cameron Healy put on a show in the loss knocking down six threes leading the game with 28 points. The game was broadcast on 90.1 FM WUSB with Jim Ferchland, Zach Wilson and Ken Fermin delivering the action. The Seawolves advance to the America East Semifinals and will face Hartford on Tuesday March 10 at 7pm at IFCU Arena. Stony Brook lost both games to Hartford during the regular season.

Maine will host New Hampshire at 7pm on Wednesday as well.

The Catamounts went on an 18-2 to run late in the game to give the Catamounts their 12th straight win. Vermont was victorious 63-54 on the road. The game was broadcast on 90.1 FM WUSB with Jim Ferchland and Zach Wilson calling the action. Vermont's Ben Shungu carried the Catamounts with 16 points but Everett Duncan knocked down three consecutive triples to give Vermont a 12-point lead with 2 minutes. Andrew Garcia had 20 points for the Seawolves. They are likely to lock up the #2 seed in the America East.

Elijah Olaniyi lead the Seawolves with a career-high 33 points and 10 rebounds. Stony Brook freshman Tyler Stephenson-Moore also had a career-high points. For UMass Lowell, Odadiah Noel had a career-high as well with 31 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. The game was broadcast through the airwaves of 90.1 FM WUSB and the video is courtesy of ESPN+. Stony Brook advances to 16-8 and UMass Lowell falls to 9-15.
