The win was the second of the year for MU over Villanova, becoming only the second team to sweep the regular season series with VU since 2013. Tyler Kolek added 18 and six assists for MU while Darryl Morsell scored 15, including several key buckets down the stretch. Brandon Slater led the Wildcats with 18 in the setback.

Xavier wore shooting shirts representing the Lion Tamers of Cincinnati, while Butler repped the Short's Cafe Fives from Franklin, Indiana.

For the Red Storm, Posh Alexander had a career day with 29 points to go along with 11 assists and five rebounds. The contest was part of the 'BIG EAST Honors Black Fives' initiative, with St. John's representing the St. Christopher's Club from Harlem and Providence sporting the look of the Vandal Athletic Club out of Atlantic City.
The Hall got 21 points from Tray Jackson, including a 5-of-9 effort from downtown, to power past Georgetown in DC on Tuesday night. Jared Rhoden (14 points) and Kadary Richmond (12 points) also finished in double-figures for The Hall, while Donald Carey led four players in double-digits for Georgetown with 15 points. The contest was part of the 'BIG EAST Honors Black Fives' initiative. Seton Hall represented the Owl Field Club out of Newark, while Georgetown honored the Washington Bears.
Hours after a historic blizzard hit New England, Providence got 17 points and six rebounds from Nate Watson in a physical, gritty victory over Marquette on Sunday in front of a packed house at The Dunk. Justin Minaya scored 14 and Al Durham added 11 points, all in the second half, for the Friars, while Noah Horchler chipped in an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double. The setback for Marquette snapped a seven-game winning streak for the Golden Eagles. Darryl Morsell had a big game for MU with 14 points, six steals and five assists while Tyler Kolek and Justin Lewis each scored 13.
R.J. Cole went for 25 points to lead UConn to a gritty road win on Saturday at DePaul. The Huskies struggled offensively but out-rebounded DePaul, 45-35, and held the Blue Demons under 30 percent form the floor. Andre Jackson led the effort on the glass for UConn with 13 rebounds and Javan Johnson scored a team-high 18 points for DePaul.
Collin Gillespie scored 17 points with Caleb Daniels and Eric Dixon each adding 15 as Villanova cruised past St. John's on Saturday at The Finn. The Wildcats hit nine 3-pointers in the first half to build a double-digit lead at the break and never relented. Montez Mathis led St. John's with 14 points.
