Paul Scruggs led the way with 18 points and eight assists for the Musketeers, while Jack Nunge, Zach Freemantle and Nate Johnson all had at least 15 for XU. On the Creighton side, Ryan Nembhard led the way with 23 points.

The Friars returned from an 11-day lay-off and showed no signs of rust, knocking off Georgetown at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. Ed Croswell led four Friars in double-figures with 15 points on 7-7 shooting. The win was Ed Cooley's 209th at Providence College, tying the legend Dave Gavitt for second all-time in PC history. Donald Carey and Kaiden Rice each hit five 3-pointers for Georgetown, combining for 40 points in the setback.
