Providence finished with four double-figure scorers and won its sixth-straight to improve to 19-2 on the year in a hard-fought BIG EAST battle at St. John's. Jared Bynum led the way for the Friars with 19 points off the bench, including a 4-of-5 effort from beyond the arc. Nate Watson finished with 16 and Al Durham and Noah Horchler each added 14. For the Red Storm, Posh Alexander had a career day with 29 points to go along with 11 assists and five rebounds. The contest was part of the 'BIG EAST Honors Black Fives' initiative, with St. John's representing the St. Christopher's Club from Harlem and Providence sporting the look of the Vandal Athletic Club out of Atlantic City.
