Sunderland had to settle for a point against AFC Wimbledon in a game that sparked many controversies. Bailey Wright scored for the lads after Joe Pigott put the visitors in front from the penalty spot. EIGHT Sunderland first team players were unable to play due to a COVID-19 outbreak which makes you wonder as to why the game wasn't called off? Sunderland only had THREE fully fit players on the bench and none of them even played. However, the team that we played today were painfully average and we desperately need some new recruits in January. Sunderland's next game is a trip to Shrewsbury which, in my opinion, should be called off. #SAFC #AFCWimbledon #LeagueOne

Sunderland returned to winning ways in League One after an impressive 4-0 win away at promotion rivals Lincoln City. Sunderland went 3-0 up at half-time after a penalty from Grant Leadbitter, Charlie Wyke and a sublime goal from Jack Diamond. Wyke got his 2nd in the second half and we saw the game out comfortably. Lee Johnson has only been here for a week and we already look like a different team. My MOTM is once again, Jack Diamond. #LincolnCity #SAFC #LeagueOne
