Eben Etzebeth AMAZING Man of The Match Performance vs Wales | South Africa vs Wales 2022
Eben Etzebeth AMAZING Man of The Match Performance vs Wales | South Africa vs Wales 2022

There is not really much to say about Eben at this point, the guys is already a legend of the game and he's not even close to retiring. It was an absolute pleasure to watch Eben on his way to 100 caps for South Africa where he has matured so much since he's debut. He'll most likely go down as the best lock to play for South Africa and probably on of the best players to play the game. The scary thing is that he is still so young for someone with so much experience. It will be interesting to see how many more caps he can get. As for his performance this game, it was just fitting that he got Man of The Match in his 100th game. His work rate is just insane and he contributes by doing everything on the field. I just love watching kickoffs and up and unders where you see Eben always being the first guy to make the tackle. You can just always see that he gives everything when he plays for the springboks and sets the standard for his teammates. Also shoutout to Wales for putting up a big fight in this series. They could've very easily won the series but were very unlucky in that first match with officiating. Either way, these two teams always put up an amazing show where it always seems to be a 1 score game.

Andrew Brace SHOCKING Refereeing Mistakes In The URC Final | Bulls vs Stormers 2022
Andrew Brace SHOCKING Refereeing Mistakes In The URC Final | Bulls vs Stormers 2022

I have no idea how Andrew Brace keeps getting to referee at the top level of the game. How many controversies does he have to be in for World Rugby to realize he is not a very good ref? He's quickly becoming the Marius Jonker of refereeing where after every game he officiates, there seems to be controversy. I can't believe how he missed these to glaring penalties, that had a direct impact in the scores of the game. The first one was the most obvious one, Damian Willemse was miles offside before the ball was out at the scrum. This should've been a clear penalty, yet Andrew Brace missed it completely. To make things worse, then Evan Roos gets the ball. He hits his one knee, which means he has one chance to reach and score or to place. The moment he moves onto his other knee, he has to place the ball and can't propel himself forward because that is double movement. Yet, he does exactly that. He hits his knee, moves onto his other knee and then propels himself forward to score a try. The TMO and Andrew Brace are equally guilty for awarding this try, they checked it and for some reason these "professional referees" came to the conclusion it was legal. But regardless of the missed double movement. How did he not penalize the Stormers for being offside at scrum time? How did he miss that? The URC is the league with the absolute worst officials in the game, which is probably due to the fact that a majority of them are Northern Hemisphere and they have a track record of being the worst in rugby.

Eben Etzebeth With Another Man Of The Match Performance | Toulon vs ASM Clermont Auvergne
Eben Etzebeth With Another Man Of The Match Performance | Toulon vs ASM Clermont Auvergne

Unfortunately this was the best footage I could get, but had to post it as Eben Etzebeth was at his best again. The guy is just class and has proven time and time again that he is hands down the best lock in rugby at the moment. I just love the way he play, it simply never gets old to see him run over people with aggression. He was brilliant yet again with his man of the match performance vs ASM Clermont Auvergne. Also seems like Eben is at a very good place in his life as he recently got engaged to Anlia van Rensburg and is also coming back to the Sharks after this season with Toulon. But all that aside, He just keeps putting on these world class performances on a consistent basis, it's ridiculous that he's able to do it at his size and style of play. Toulon is going to lose a massive player when he leaves, but I'm going to be honest here, it is going to be great to have him in SA shores again. Eben will forever be a legend within the South African rugby community.

Moana Pasifika Scores Magical Game Winning Try | Hurricanes vs Moana Pasifika Super Rugby 2022
Moana Pasifika Scores Magical Game Winning Try | Hurricanes vs Moana Pasifika Super Rugby 2022

There's just nothing like an underdog winning a game that nobody expects them to win. The only thing better than that is to do it when time is up! The Hurricanes dominated the 1st half of the game but Moana Pasifika kept fighting and didn't let the scoreboard get away from them. They were 7 points down with 3 minutes left before they equalized with a brilliant try from scrum time. The game ended in a draw during regulation time which lead to the Golden-Point Rule where the first team to score a point, wins the game. Then the magic happened, Moana were under pressure for the first few minutes. The Hurricanes went down to their 22m but Moana managed to get a crucial turnover and got the ball to the magic man, Danny Toala, who scored an magical game winning try. The kick and chase was just brilliant and his control of the ball even better. This was an amazing game and another great upset victory for an underdog team. How Did The Ref Miss This??? | Bulls vs Lions Currie Cup 2022
How Did The Ref Miss This??? | Bulls vs Lions Currie Cup 2022

The thing that still fascinates me is that World Rugby will never miss an accidental head clash, they'll punish it no matter the context of how it happened. Then stuff like this happens on the field where there is actually foul play with intent and malice, yet this stuff gets ignored. The TMO's are quick to jump in to give red cards for accidental head clashes, they're quick to watch the slow motion replays 50 times in order to convince the ref of a red card. But then stuff like this gets ignored. It's astonishing to me how bad officiating is in World Rugby and then people get mad for pointing it out. In this case Marius van der Westhuizen was the ref and Egon Seconds the TMO. I can understand if they missed it in real time, even though this happened directly in front of Marius. But to miss this when you watch the replay as well, that is just shocking. Not to mention the Bulls player, Marco Janse van Vuuren being visibly upset with that happened when Ginter Smuts stamped on his arm.

Cheslin Kolbe Scores AMAZING Try vs La Rochelle | Toulon vs La Rochelle Top 14
Cheslin Kolbe Scores AMAZING Try vs La Rochelle | Toulon vs La Rochelle Top 14

Cheslin Kolbe was at it again this past weekend when he scored an amazing try vs La Rochelle. It just never gets old watching him destroy defensive lines as if he's playing high school rugby. There are not many players with the magic he possesses that can change the game in an instant. He can wreck havoc on counter attack and is just impossible to stop when you give him space, his footwork is just insane. He's also just starting to gain his form at Toulon so other teams won't like to see that. I can't wait to see him him in the international stage again, he's just so much fun to watch and definitely one of South Africa's favorite players all around the world. Ange Capuozzo's Man Of The Match Performance vs Wales | Italy vs Wales Six Nations 2022
Ange Capuozzo's Man Of The Match Performance vs Wales | Italy vs Wales Six Nations 2022

Here's the full performance of Ange Capuozzo against Wales. It was definitely one of the more memorable matches I've watched and that ending was just special. You only see that stuff in movies. I've mentioned in my other video about how much ridicule this Italian team faced this season with constant pressure from the media about if they belong in the Six Nations or not. I can only imagine how hard that must be to keep focused when the outside noise is so loud. But they simply kept on fighting and showed the world what rugby means to them. Now for Ange Capuozzo, he became an world star after this game and created the spark that quite possible saved Italian Rugby. They needed this performance to show the world that they're here to stay. The most impressive thing about Ange's performance is the fact that he is the smallest guy on the field, but plays with a heart bigger than anyone. He's just another example as to why size doesn't matter in this sport of ours. He was amazing and is going to be a star in the future. I can't wait to see him get even better! He's going to be a very popular guy in Italian sports thanks to his moment of greatness. He also won the respect from the Wales team after that performance, as was seen when Josh Adams showed amazing sportsmanship to hand over his Man of the Match award to Ange. That is the ultimate sign of respect and that was just more proof as to why Rugby is an amazing sport

Bismarck du Plessis Red Card Incident | Bulls vs Munster URC 2022
Bismarck du Plessis Red Card Incident | Bulls vs Munster URC 2022

This was not a very smart moment by Bismarck, I have no idea what he was thinking when he lifted the Munster player. There is no reason why he had to do it and there was clear intent when he lifted him. I'm 100% okay with stuff like this being red carded, this is why context matters. In this case there was clear intent shown by Bismarck. It was a dumb decision that almost ruined a good game between the Bulls vs Munster, I can't imagine his teammates and coaches being happy to see him do that. This decision was so obvious that even Ben Whitehouse couldn't mess it up, despite being one of the worst referees on the planet. This is clearly much worse than an accidental head clash, yet World Rugby sees both incidents the same. They can't differentiate between the two and they don't care if one is a rugby hit and the other a clear case of foul play, to them it's the same if there is any contact to the head, which makes no sense at all and is killing the game. I'm also not a fan of the red card in general, I think it ruins the game. I still would prefer if a player gets ejected from the game and they can suspend and fine him after the game if he does something egregious. However, I do believe a team should be allowed to replace that player after 10 minutes which would make the games much more entertaining than just simply punishing a team by playing 14 vs 15. Hopefully common sense prevails and World rugby sees the obvious flaws their policies and start making changes to it, but the chances of that happening is probably zero.
