OK, so in this video we do a game preview of the very last game of the season for the Montreal Canadiens, on the night of May 12th, 2021, when they take on the Edmonton Oilers. These two teams met just 48 hours ago, with the Habs losing the game in overtime, compliments of a Connor McDavid spectacular breakaway goal on Jake Allen. However, the loss did come with some positivity, as the Habs gained one point, a point which they desperately needed to clinch the 4th and final remaining playoff position in the Northern Division. So, if your new around here, stay tuned to discuss the last time these two teams met, their current positions in the standings, the projected lineups for tonight's game, and of course, take a look at both teams player statistics, to see which players are most likely to kick some 'arse' up in here! OK, so in this video, I review the game last night that happened between the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Leafs won this game by a score of 5-2, and they came out of the gate looking really strong, especially compared to their last game against the Habs.. They scored early, and often, chasing young Habs goaltending prospect Cayden Primeau from the game, after allowing 4 goals in just 9 shots during the first period. However, in my opinion, the Habs woes during this game ran much deeper than just Cayden Primeau, as the veterans of the team, failed to show up yet again. Phil Danault would leave the game during the first period, causing a hole up the middle . This would be a huge loss for the Habs down the stretch, as they are already dealing with quite a few significant injuries on the team. The last time these two teams met, was on Monday, when the Habs tied the game late in the 3rd period, and would go onto win the game in overtime, with Cole Caufiled scoring his second goal of his short season, defeating the Leafs by a score of 3-2. Phil Danault also is the hero who tied the game late in the 3rd period during that one. Who wins tonight? I guess well have to wait and see. In this video, we take a look at the last time these two teams met, the updated standings of the Northern Division, the projected lineups of both teams, and the player statistics of both teams to see which players are playing the best. OK, so in this video, we review the NHL's Northern Division game that happened on May 5th, 2021, between the Habs and the Sens. The Ottawa Senators defeated the Montreal Canadiens by a score of 5-1, and ended a 3 game winning streak that the Habs were trying to run away with. The lone goal scorer for the Habs was Joel Edmundson, who would tie the game late in the first period. The goal scorers for the Ottawa Senators were Shane Pinto, Brady Tkachuk, Nick Paul, Connor Brown, and Alex Formenton. The Habs have another game tomorrow night against the Toronto Maple Leafs, and have a chance to try and pull ahead in the race that they are currently in with the Winnipeg Jets for 3rd place in the division. Alright guys, so its time for another game preview here, and this time its between the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators. The last time these two teams met, was on Saturday, when the Habs turned on the jets late in the 3rd period, and came back from a 2 goal deficit, and going on to win the game in overtime with Cole Caufiled getting his very first NHL goal, and an overtime winner. Alright guys, its time to review the big game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Winnipeg Jets. The Habs win this game by a score of 5-3, in a game which was very important for both of these teams, as the Habs are trying to clinch their playoff position and potentially move further up, while the Jets are trying to stop a losing skid, that now has them having 6 straight losses. In this game, I felt like the entire Hab forward group looked pretty good, despite losing many players to injuries. Nick Suzuki had a 3 point night, and led the way. The Jets on the other hand struggled in their own end of the rink, allowing way too many quality scoring chances for the Habs to take advantage of. Alright ladies and gents, its time to review the game last night, that is ofcourse between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens. The Leafs won this game by a score of 4-1, as the Habs yet again proved to be one of the most inconsistent teams in the NHL, and failed to score many goals. Things are not very good right now for the Habs fan base, and they are very fortunate to be in the 4th and final playoff position of the NHL's Northern Divsion, although if this game was an indication of how the first round of the playoffs would go, one has to wonder how much this would benefit the current team.
