Pezzetta Headshot on TJ Oshie - Incident Review (Habs/Caps)
OK Guys, its time for an incident review, and in this video, i'm gonna be reviewing the play that happened during Saturday night's game between the Habs and the Caps, when Michael Pezzetta of the Montreal Canadiens, delivered a headshot on Washington Capitals forward TJ Oshie. This play resulted in a 2 minute penalty for Pezzetta, for a hit to the head. However, Oshie would be fine, he played the next shift, and even scored a goal! But regardless, a bad hit by Pezz, and now the NHL's Department of Player Safety are set to take a closer look at this one. Will Pezzetta receive a suspension? Or just a fine? Kassian Runs Into Montembeault, Jeff Petry Watches - Incident Review
OK Guys, the Montreal Canadiens got beaten up on the scoreboard last night by the Edmonton Oilers, Evander Kane would score his first goal as a member of the Oilers, and in this video, we primarily focus on the hit delivered by Zach Kassian, on Habs goaltender Samuel Montembeault. Montembeualt would fall to the ice, his helmet would come off as a result from the hit, and unsurprisingly, the 5 Montreal Canadiens players on the ice pretend it didn't happen, with nobody confronting Kassian. Kassian would receive a penalty on the play, but many Hab fans are upset this morning about the lack of emotion shown by the players during this incident. Maxime Lapierre would point the finger at Jeff Petry, who is an assistant captain of the Canadiens, and was clearly looking right at the play as it went down. Not a proud moment for sure. Jared Spurgeon Headshots Christian Dvorak - Incident Review (+Endgame Scrap)
OK Guys, its time to have a chat about a couple of incidents which occurred in the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Minnesota Wild. During the first period, after a scramble near the Canadiens goal, the Captain of the Wild, Jared Spurgeon, raced towards the net, and his shoulder hit Christian Dvorak in the head on the way, causing him to fall down as a result. Dvorak would leave the game, due to the concussion protocol, and Dominique Ducharme would confirm that he failed his tests and would not return. Will Spurgeon receive a phone call from the department of player safety? Let me know your thoughts down below. The Wild destroyed the Habs by a score of 8-2, and during the end of the 3rd period there was also some more rough stuff beteween Michael Pezzetta, Matt Dumba and Marcus Foligno that I cover as well. Habs/Hawks Controversial OT Goal Breakdown
OK Guys, its time to haev a chat about the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Chicago Blackhawks, during the 3rd period, Patrick Kane tied the game at 2, which sent the game into OT. During Overtime, Philipp Kurashev gets the puck, and as he is skating all alone on a breakaway, he gets hit by Mike Hoffman, causing a dustup at the net. The puck does cross the line, After the net is off its moorings, but the refs rule it a good goal. Dominique Ducharme would challenge the play for offside, however, due to the new NHL rules, the play is deemed onside and stands which causes a huge debate from sports analysts, Dominique Ducharme and Habs Nation!
